IMPLEMENTATION STEPS<br />

DESCRIPTION A standard <strong>in</strong>terview that is given to (group loan) clients when they<br />

leave the lend<strong>in</strong>g programme <strong>in</strong> order to give programme<br />

management complementary <strong>in</strong><strong>for</strong>mation on how to improve<br />

programme <strong>in</strong>tervention.<br />

PURPOSE Tool 3 focuses on client satisfaction and reasons <strong>for</strong> leav<strong>in</strong>g the<br />

programme. Questions focus on which clients leave the<br />

IM TEAM<br />

programme, when and why clients leave the programme, client<br />

op<strong>in</strong>ions about programme strengths and weaknesses, and client<br />

perceptions about how programme services meet their needs.<br />

In<strong>for</strong>mation gathered with this tool about the reasons why clients<br />

leave programmes complements the data obta<strong>in</strong>ed <strong>in</strong> the impact<br />

survey. Normally, only active clients are assessed <strong>in</strong> IM. Clients<br />

who have experienced problems or negative programme effects<br />

are often not monitored.<br />
