AARP Meeting
Pennsauken AARP Chapter 2861 will
meet on April 8 at the Pennsauken

of treats during the Brunch with a Buddy
program. The event is part of the celebration

Run for ALD
The Run for ALD 5K and One Mile
Fun Walk will be held on Sunday, April 21,
10 a.m. at Cooper River Park, Pennsauken.
All of the proceeds of the Run for ALD
will benefit the Kennedy Krieger Institute,
a non-profit hospital dedicated to treating,
preventing and ultimately curing
Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD) and other
neurogenetic diseases. For more information,

All Star Boosters Host Wine and
Craft Beer Social
The Pennsauken All Sports Booster
Club will present its third annual Wine
and Craft Beer Social on Thursday,
May 2, 6:30 p.m. at Colleen’s Caterers on
Route 73 N, Pennsauken. Proceeds of
the event support $5,000 in scholarships
to student-athletes of the Class of 2013.
The event is well attended with
numerous well-known PHS Coaches
and administrators serving as pourers.

St. Cecilia’s Little Angels Preschool is hosting their annual
Community Fun Fair, Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Held at their facility on 4800 Camden Ave., the event serves as a
celebration of the National Association for the Education of Young
Children’s “Week of the Young Child,” which highlights the importance
of early education. The event is open to the public and offers a wide
variety of free family-focused activities.
