Using the Long Parameter with cmdmsword<br />

warn Boolean True Determines whether a warning displays when<br />

user launches Word and returns to<br />

<strong>eWebEditPro</strong> from Word.<br />

startupmode string htmlview Determines Word’s initial view format.<br />

Choose from these options:<br />

• normalview - a document formatted on<br />

a simplified page<br />

• htmlview - a document as it appears<br />

in a Web browser<br />

• wordview - a document as it appears<br />

when you print it<br />

• readingview - a document in full page<br />

view<br />

• outlineview - a document that shows<br />

hidden characters as well as visible ones<br />

After the document loads, the user can<br />

change the view using the menu options.<br />

If you send the msword command via JavaScript, you can use the long parameter<br />

to specify whether you want MS Word started or shut down.<br />

• If you specify 1 in the long parameter, MS Word launches<br />

• If you specify 0, MS Word shuts down<br />

There are three ways to handle Microsoft Word content.<br />
