An external program, usually an RFC program, is started on a Windows machine by the SAPgui. Here,
you cannot call the program through the SAP gateway.
Entry in RFCDES with Transaction SM59:
Connection type: T
Program location: User
Program: c:\tmp\extpgm
A frontend program is connected to an R/3 System via the SAP gateway which is running on an NT or
UNIX machine.
For WfW and Windows 3.1, the CPI-C interface is not supported.
