Info

Toolbar Seagate Info groups several commonly used commands on a toolbar that remains on-screen at all times. To activate a toolbar command, simply click the corresponding button. NOTE: When the cursor is placed over a toolbar button, the program displays a Tool Tip with a brief description of what the button is used for. Creates a new folder, report, query, or program object, as well as imports an existing cube object. For an example, see How to add a folder/subfolder to the Info Desktop, Page 23. Folder Tree Opens the Info Report Designer if you have a report object highlighted. If you have a report instance highlighted: and the Page on demand from server check box toggled off in the Desktop Options dialog box, the Info Analyzer for reports opens. and the Page-On-Demand from server check box toggled on in the Desktop Options dialog box, the Info Viewer for reports opens (the Page-On-Demand from server check box is toggled on by default). and a cube object highlighted, the Cube Designer opens. and a cube instance highlighted, the Info Worksheet opens. Allows you to view and/or modify security settings for the currently selected folder or object. For an example, see How to set/change security settings for a folder, Page 24. Allows you to view/modify properties for the currently selected folder or object. For an example, see How to modify folder properties, Page 26,andHowto modify object properties, Page 43. Sends the selected instance to a printer. Exports the selected instance to a file or e-mail. Enables context-sensitive Help for the Info Desktop. The Folder Tree occupies the left side of the Info Desktop main screen. It displays all the Info APS/APS Clusters you are currently connected to, as well as private and public folder information for each. To review the contents of a folder, simply click the folder.
