"<strong>Eye</strong>-Synchro" Synchronization Service<br />
To synchronize your organizer and personal contacts in the Virtual Office with a PDA or an email client such<br />
as Outlook ® .<br />
VPN PPTP Service<br />
To authorize remote mobile users to connect to the <strong>Eye</strong>-<strong>box</strong> ONE NG series, or other platform based on the<br />
<strong>Eye</strong>-Soft ONE 3100, thanks to a PPTP application (already present on Windows computers). Once the<br />
mobile clients have connected using their identities, they can access the resources of the local private<br />
network that is located behind the Appliance (specifically LAN1) as if they were physically present on the<br />
network.<br />
The VPN PPTP service makes full use of the Appliance's user directory. This allows users to be given access<br />
rights to connect using PPTP. The VPN PPTP service uses their login and password, as they are defined in the<br />
directory, to identify and authenticate the connections.<br />

Development of the organizer<br />
There is now a new "Organizer Configuration" function available in the "Service management" menu in the<br />
administration interface. Intended for the administrator, it allows configuration of numerous options of the<br />
application, the activation or deactivation of certain functions, the configuration of certain email options<br />
(email reminders and notifications) and the choice of the default colour scheme for the application etc.<br />
Developments and minor fixes for the "Automatic Email Reply" and "Forward" functions of the Webmail<br />
service. These two functions are now separate. Moreover, an additional message is displayed on the main<br />
Webmail page in order to remind the user that the automatic email reply function has been activated.<br />

SSH Tunnel Manager Service<br />
This service allows any machine that has access to the Internet via a router, to establish a secured connection<br />
to RightVision support. It allows a bi-directional SSH tunnel to be initialized in order that the support engineer<br />
may access one or several services of the appliance.<br />
