VPN PPTP Service To authorize remote mobile users to connect to the Eye-box ONE NG series, or other platform based on the Eye-Soft ONE 3100, thanks to a PPTP application (already present on Windows computers). Once the mobile clients have connected using their identities, they can access the resources of the local private network that is located behind the Appliance (specifically LAN1) as if they were physically present on the network. The VPN PPTP service makes full use of the Appliance's user directory. This allows users to be given access rights to connect using PPTP. The VPN PPTP service uses their login and password, as they are defined in the directory, to identify and authenticate the connections.
