Power-Mas ter <strong>500</strong> un til the am per age dis play<br />
reads ex actly 100.<br />
F) Ver ify the ac tual load amps us ing the ex ter nal<br />
shunt. Load amps should be 100 ± 4 amps.<br />
There is no cal i bra tion ad just ment, if the cal i bra -<br />
tion is off then ei ther the cur rent sen sor or the<br />
con trol board is out of cal i bra tion. At 100 amps of<br />
load cur rent the cur rent sen sor out put should be<br />
0.80 Volts dc.<br />
G) De-en er gize the out put by re mov ing the gun<br />
switch sig nal.<br />
H) Set the ma chine to GMAW mode.<br />
I) Pre set the out put to 24.0 Volts.<br />
J) En er gize the out put us ing the gun switch in put.<br />
The contactor switch on the front panel can not<br />
be used or the volt age read ings will be off.<br />
K) Ver ify the volt age read ing on the front panel<br />
dis play is 24.0 ± 0.2 volts.<br />
L) Ad just the out put volt age con trol on the front<br />
panel of the Power-Mas ter un til the volt age dis -<br />
play reads ex actly 24.0 volts.<br />
M) Ver ify the out put ter mi nal volts di rectly on the<br />
cop per bus bar of the out put ter mi nal us ing the<br />
ex ter nal dig i tal me ter read ing av er age volts.<br />
Volt age should be 24.0 ± 0.5 Volts.<br />
N) If the volt age is out of cal i bra tion, it can be ad -<br />
justed with R68 on the main con trol board.<br />
