possible <strong>for</strong> consumers. NFSA are responsible <strong>for</strong> all legislation within the <strong>production</strong> and<br />
distribution <strong>of</strong> food. This includes business activities within primary <strong>production</strong>, food industries,<br />
grocery stores, all kinds <strong>of</strong> food catering and some import, such as import <strong>of</strong> animals, food and<br />
plants.<br />
They also inspect and license veterinarians and other animal health personnel, businesses who deal<br />
in by-products (<strong>for</strong> instance waste from slaughtered animals) and anyone who cares <strong>for</strong> animals.<br />
Furthermore the NFSA inspects industries producing cosmetics and body care products, as well as<br />
the distribution <strong>of</strong> medicinal products sold outside <strong>of</strong> pharmacies. On the web pages to NFSA<br />
