EN Pina Bausch was one of the most praised choreographers in the world. When she
passed away unexpectedly in the summer of 2009, Wim Wenders was about to start
shooting a documentary project. He decided to dedicate his documentary to the choreographer.
The result is a breathtaking and mindblowing film in which 3D actually
provides extra value. You are sucked into the spectacle and before the movie is over
you have become – dance lover or not – convinced of the genius of this extraordinary
woman.
NL Pina Bausch was één van de meest gelauwerde choreografen ter wereld. Wanneer
ze in de zomer van 2009 totaal onverwacht overlijdt, was ze twee dagen verwijderd van
de opnames voor een documentaireproject van Wim Wenders. De regisseur be sloot zijn
documentaire aan de choreo grafe op te dragen. Het resultaat is een verbluffende en
wervelende film waar de derde dimensie een echte meerwaarde biedt. Als toeschouwer
word je in het spektakel meegezogen en voor de film afgelopen is ben je – dans liefhebber
of niet – overtuigd van het genie van deze zeer bijzondere vrouw.
