Danish Language courses at the Institute of Modern Languages
IML offers over 30 part-time language courses using a communicative approach to teaching and
learning. All four skill areas are covered: understanding, speaking, reading and writing for
application in authentic situations and a collaborative team effort is encouraged in class. A
cultural segment is integrated with the language acquisition program and focuses on general
background studies pertaining to the countries and peoples where the targeted language is in
use. Also available are:
• Customised tuition for individuals, companies and government departments
• Translating and Interpreting service
• Language proficiency testing
• Cross-cultural briefings

Semester I - enrolments close 3 March 2003
Late enrolments will be received subject to vacancies and will incur a late fee of
$30.

Hej! Come and experience this interesting language at the IML. You will get acquainted with
Danish and its grammar by learning daily necessities such as introductions and the use of public
transport.

Want to further your elementary knowledge of Danish? This is your chance! This course
provides a meaningful and productive way of acquiring Danish through both speaking and
writing. You will gain an impressive list of new words to add to your existing Danish
vocabulary.
