Notice of Intention to Borrow.<br />

Proposed Loan (No. 43) of $4,000.<br />

PURSUANT to section 610 of the Local Government<br />

Act, 1960, the Cunderdin Shire Council hereby<br />

gives notice that it is proposed to borrow money,<br />

by the sale of debentures on the following terms<br />

and for the following purpose: $4,000 for fifteen<br />

(15) years at a rate of interest of $5.875 per cent.<br />

per annum, repayable at the Bank of New South<br />

Wales Savings Bank Ltd, Cunderdin by thirty (30)<br />

equal half-yearly instalments of principal and<br />

interest. Purpose: Contribution towards the cost<br />

of construction of a golf club house at Meckering.<br />

A statement showing details of the proposed<br />

expenditure of the money to he borrowed is open<br />

for the inspection of ratepayers at the office of<br />

the Council during normal business hours for a<br />

period of 35 days after the publication of this<br />

notice.<br />

hereby gives notice that it proposes to borrow<br />

money by the sale of debentures on the following<br />

terms and for the following purpose: $15,400<br />

for 5 years at a rate of interest not exceeding<br />

5.75 per cent. per annum, repayable at the Bank<br />

of New South Wales, Quairading, by 10 halfyearly<br />

Proposed Loan (No. 27) of $7,500.<br />

PURSUANT to section 610 of the Local Government<br />

Act, 1960, the Nungarin Shire Council hereby<br />

gives notice that it proposes to borrow money, by<br />

the sale of debentures, on the following terms and<br />

for the following purpose: $7,500 for a period of<br />

12 years at an interest rate not exceeding 6 per<br />

cent. per annum, payable at the Rural & Industries<br />

Bank, Nungarin, in 24 half-yearly instalments of<br />

principal and interest. Purpose: Erection of two<br />

single flats on townsite lot 48, First Avenue, Nungarin.<br />

Plans, specifications and an estimate of the cost.<br />

and a statement required by section 609 of the Act<br />

are open for inspection at the office of the Council,<br />

during normal office hours, for a period of 35 days<br />

following publication of this notice.<br />

It is anticipated that rental received from the<br />

flats will be sufficient to meet the annual repayment<br />

of principal and interest on the loan. Therefore,<br />

very little funds, if any, will need to be<br />

derived from rating.<br />

Proposed Loan (No. 18) of $200,000.<br />

PURSUANT to section 610 of the Local Government<br />

Act, 1960, the above Council hereby gives<br />

notice that it proposes to borrow money by the<br />

sale of a debenture, on the following terms and<br />

conditions and for the following purpose: $200,000<br />

for 20 years at 5.875 per cent. per annum, payable<br />

at the Bank of New South Wales, Kalgoorlie, by<br />

40 equal half-yearly instalments of principal and<br />

interest. Purpose: To finance the erection of a<br />

civic centre on Kalgoorlie Lot 3375, corner Davidson<br />

and Oswald Streets.<br />

Plans, specifications and estimate of the cost<br />

thereof and the statement required by section 609<br />

of the Local Government Act, are open for inspection<br />

at the office of the Council during ordinary<br />

office hours for 35 days after the publication of<br />

this notice.<br />

Notice Requiring Payment of Rates<br />

Prior to Sale.<br />

To the several registered proprietors or owners in<br />

fee simple of the several pieces of land described<br />

in the third column of the appendix<br />

to this notice, and whose names appear in<br />

the first column of the appendix to this notice:<br />

TAKE NOTICE THAT<br />

(1) Default has been made in the payment<br />

to the Council of the amovementioned<br />

Municipality of a rate charged on the<br />

several pieces of land described in the<br />

third column of the appendix to this<br />

notice, and the default has continued in<br />

respect of each separate piece of land for<br />

a period greater than three years;<br />

(2) The total amount owing to the council in<br />

respect of rates and other amounts charged<br />

on each piece of land is shown in the second<br />

column of the appendix set opposite<br />

the description of that piece of land;<br />

(3) Payment of these amounts representing<br />

rates is hereby required;<br />

(4) In default of payment, the pieces of land<br />

will be offered for sale by public auction<br />

after the expiration of one hundred and<br />

five days from the date of service of this<br />

notice at a time appointed by the Council.<br />

The pieces of land in respect of which the rates<br />

specified in the second column of the Appendix are<br />

owing are those severally described in the third<br />

column of the Appendix and set opposite the respective<br />

amounts so specified.<br />
