Progress in Accountancy studies will be regarded as an important factor when judging relative efficiency under section 34 of the Public Service Act. (j) Certificate in Structural Drafting, Perth Technical College, or equivalent, plus at least four years' practical drawing office experience. (k) Plus district allowance—$450 p.a. married man, $225 p.a. single man. Annual uniform issued. (1) Certificate—Master, Foreign Going. Applicant younger than 45 years preferred. (m) Headquarters Derby. Furnished residence available at moderate rental. (n) A Certificate in Applied Science of Technical Education Division or substantial progress towards this qualification. Knowledge of Physics, Chemistry, Photography, Microscopy and simple Electronic work essential. Esperience in the use of hand and power tools desirable. (o) Plus district, travelling and other allowances. (p) A pass in Surveying I at the Perth Technical College or its equivalent, and some experience in the construction industry and in irrigation and drainage operations and maintenance an advantage. (q) Registration Certificate of the Library Association of Australia or an approved equivalent. Some training in library practice an advantage. Progress towards a univeristy degree desirable. (r) Diploma of a recognised Agricultural College or approved equivalent. (s) Junior Certificate, including English and Mathematics A, essential, with science subjects desirable. Preference for Leaving Certificate. (t) Junior Certificate, including English, Mathematics A and B and Physics, or approved equivalent, plus at least two years' drawing office experience.
