(b) Overview on transportation system management (TSM) techniques. (c) Explain the transportation planning process at urban, rural & regional levels. (d) Discuss Engineering & Legislative measures for traffic control. (e) Describe various methods of traffic management for short, medium & long range planning. (f) Discuss IT applications for traffic management. Participant Profile Traffic police department, motor vehicle department, municipal corporations & urban development authorities. Programme Director : Mrs Subhashini G Training Period : Three days, 05 – 07 Mar 14 Programme Objectives (a) Review of existing maintenance practices. (b) Develop plan for improving the maintenance function. (c) Update the knowledge of professionals on latest parts, machine & equipments (PME's) to be used in maintenance for effective manpower utilization & maintenance downtime. (d) Suggest measures for reducing breakdowns, cost of operation & manpower in the depot/ workshop/ garage. (e) IT application in maintenance management. Participant Profile Depot managers, maintenance manager/engineers, works managers, other technical officers at senior / junior management levels, maintenance managers of fleet owners.
