Programme Objectives
(a) Evaluate performance of materials systems followed in different business units.
(b) Study the inadequacies in stores management.
(c) Maintaining inventory of vital parts based on VED / ABC analysis.
(d) Develop optimal procurement practices & stores management systems.
(e) Identify areas for improvement in productivity & reduction in costs by quality assurance.
(f) Discuss use of information technology in materials management.
(g) Update knowledge of latest trends & developments.
(h) Equip participants with the know-how of the various functional areas of materials management.
(i) Develop new sources/links.
