Programme Objectives<br />
(a) Application <strong>of</strong> RTPIS to monitor service adherence and provide managers with better administration<br />
control.<br />
(b) Discuss the technical requirements <strong>of</strong> the IT infrastructure for the establishment <strong>of</strong> control centre.<br />
(c) Identify the areas <strong>of</strong> computerisation in various sections such as traffic maintenance, stores,<br />
finance, administration, e-ticketing etc.<br />
(d) Explain the significance <strong>of</strong> various IT modules for depot computerisation and integration <strong>of</strong> depot<br />
modules.<br />
(e) Familiarise the participants with different operating systems and database packages.<br />
(f) Provide overview on safeguarding against cybercrime involving online frauds, scams, hacking,<br />
cyber attacks and phishing activities.<br />

<strong>Training</strong> Period : Three days, 19 – 21 Mar 14<br />
Programme Objectives<br />
(a) Introduction to tubeless & radial tyres.<br />
(b) Identify the various factors affecting tyre life & suggest measures for reducing tyre consumption, so<br />
as to achieve lower cost per km on tyres & tubes.<br />
(c) Assess merits <strong>of</strong> conventional & cold (precured) retreading process from viewpoint <strong>of</strong> tyre economy.<br />
(d) Discuss emerging technologies in diesel engines.<br />
(e) Identify factors affecting fuel & oil consumption & pollution levels with special emphasis on<br />
controlling the same.<br />
