Prior to joining Simpson Bruckheimer in 1995, Oman was a founding employee <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

Motion Picture Corporation <strong>of</strong> America. After six years, he left <strong>the</strong> independent<br />

production company as senior vice president <strong>of</strong> production.<br />

Oman served as an associate producer on “Dumb and Dumber” starring Jim Carrey,<br />

executive produced Touchstone Pictures’ “The War at Home” starring Emilio Estevez,<br />

Kathy Bates and Martin Sheen, and co-produced “The Desperate Trail” with Sam Elliott<br />

and “The Sketch Artist” starring Drew Barrymore and Sean Young. Oman produced<br />

“Hands That See” with Courteney Cox and “Love, Cheat and Steal” with John Lithgow<br />

and Eric Roberts.<br />

Oman graduated from Sou<strong>the</strong>rn Methodist University with a degree in finance. He also<br />

attended <strong>the</strong> University <strong>of</strong> California at Los Angeles where he studied screenwriting and<br />

New York University where he participated in <strong>the</strong> undergraduate film production<br />

program. He was born and raised in Wichita Falls, Texas.<br />

JOHN DeLUCA (Executive Producer) served most recently as producer, choreographer<br />

and second unit director on <strong>the</strong> film adaptation <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Broadway musical “Nine,” which<br />

was nominated for four Academy Awards®, five Golden Globes® and 10 Critics Choice<br />

Awards. DeLuca was co-producer, second unit director and choreographer <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

Academy Award-winning film “Memoirs <strong>of</strong> a Geisha” and supervising choreographer and<br />

second unit director <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Academy Award-winning film “Chicago.” His most recent<br />

television project was <strong>the</strong> Emmy Award®-winning NBC television special “Tony Bennett:<br />

An American Classic” (seven awards, <strong>the</strong> most <strong>of</strong> any nominated show that season). He<br />

won two Emmys as executive producer and as choreographer.<br />

DeLuca choreographed <strong>the</strong> Steven Spielberg film “The Terminal,” as well as <strong>the</strong> 75 th<br />

Annual Academy Awards® and Kennedy Center Honors. On Broadway, he<br />

choreographed “Dr. Seuss’ How <strong>the</strong> Grinch Stole Christmas!” and “Minnelli on Minnelli,”<br />

as well as directed and choreographed “Broadway Sings Elton John” and “Deborah<br />

Voight on Broadway.” O<strong>the</strong>r New York choreography credits include “Sweet Adeline”<br />

(Encores!) and “Two Gentlemen <strong>of</strong> Verona” (The Public Theatre). National Tours have<br />

included “The Boyfriend” and “Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Music <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Night”<br />

(choreographer); “Chita and All That Jazz” and “Brigadoon” (director).<br />

DeLuca has coached lead performances in many Broadway shows, including Natasha<br />

Richardson in “Cabaret,” Rosie O’Donnell in “Seussical, <strong>the</strong> Musical” and Donna Murphy<br />

in “The King and I.”<br />

DeLuca started his career and spent many years as a performer where he was featured<br />

on Broadway in shows such as Bob Fosse’s “Dancin’.” He has also received <strong>the</strong> American<br />

Choreography Award and <strong>the</strong> American Theatre Award and is a graduate <strong>of</strong> Boston<br />

University.<br />
