BARRY WALDMAN (Executive Producer) has worked nonstop on some <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> industry’s<br />

most prestigious big-budget projects since beginning work in feature films. Waldman<br />

has collaborated with producer Jerry Bruckheimer on such box <strong>of</strong>fice hits as “National<br />

Treasure,” “Bad Boys” and “Bad Boys II,” “Pearl Harbor,” “Gone in 60 Seconds,”<br />

“Kangaroo Jack,” “Armageddon,” “The Rock” and “Déjà Vu.” Following his work on “The<br />

Sorcerer’s Apprentice,” Waldman was retained by Jerry Bruckheimer as one <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

executive producers <strong>of</strong> “Pirates <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.”<br />

Waldman worked with director Tony Scott on “Domino.” Prior to producing he acted as<br />

<strong>the</strong> production manager on “Batman & Robin” and “The Craft.”<br />

Born and raised in New York, Waldman moved to Florida to complete his studies at <strong>the</strong><br />

University <strong>of</strong> Miami. Upon graduation, he paid his dues as a production assistant before<br />

quickly moving up <strong>the</strong> ranks to become an assistant director on various independent<br />

films and television programs. He first met producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director<br />

Michael Bay when he worked on <strong>the</strong> second unit <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> original “Bad Boys,” which<br />

sparked a long running association with both entertainment moguls.<br />

Waldman realized his ambition as he quickly progressed to producing and production<br />

managing such popular television shows as “Key West” and “Dead at 21,” which<br />

garnered a Genesis Award and a Cable ACE nomination. Ano<strong>the</strong>r highlight included<br />

producing a documentary shot on location in Nicaragua, Honduras and Costa Rica<br />

depicting <strong>the</strong> war between <strong>the</strong> Sandinistas and Contras. When Waldman decided to<br />

make a transition to feature films, he relocated to Los Angeles.<br />

Bicoastal, Waldman resides in Los Angeles and Miami.<br />

PAT SANDSTON (Associate Producer) has been <strong>the</strong> associate producer for Jerry<br />

Bruckheimer <strong>Film</strong>s for more than a decade. He oversees all post-production and has<br />

worked closely with such top directors as Michael Bay, Ridley Scott, Gore Verbinski,<br />

Tony Scott, Joel Schumacher and Jon Turteltaub, to name a few.<br />

Since his time at Jerry Bruckheimer <strong>Film</strong>s, Sandston’s department has been nominated<br />

for 14 Academy Awards®. From those nominations, “Black Hawk Down” won for Best<br />

Editing and Best Sound, “Pearl Harbor” won for Best Sound Editing and “Pirates <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” won for Best Visual Effects.<br />

Sandston’s credits for Jerry Bruckheimer <strong>Film</strong>s include “National Treasure” and<br />

“National Treasure: Book <strong>of</strong> Secrets,” <strong>the</strong> three previous “Pirates <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Caribbean”<br />

films, “Déjà Vu,” “Glory Road,” “King Arthur,” “Black Hawk Down,” “Pearl Harbor,” “Bad<br />

Boys II,” “Gone in 60 Seconds,” “Armageddon,” “Confessions <strong>of</strong> a Shopaholic,” “G-<br />

Force,” “Prince <strong>of</strong> Persia: The Sands <strong>of</strong> Time” and “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.”<br />
