- one (1) skills training of 4.0 credits,
- three (3) courses of 6.5 credits,
- one (1) elective course of 6.5 credits per; and
- one Bachelor’s paper of 10.5 credits, which must be written during one of the
above mentioned course periods and a skills training period and also covers
one of the courses and one of the skills trainings.
A maximum of 4.0 credits of the study abroad requirements or a skills training period
of 4.0 credits can be substituted by doing an internship. A maximum of 6.5 credits of
the study abroad requirements can be substituted by doing a summer course.

A combination of a summer course and an internship in order to substitute credits for
the study abroad is not allowed.
C. Bachelor of Science in Fiscal Economics
The final Bachelor’s exam for the study programme in Fiscal Economics is composed
of four semesters.
The first semester comprises:
- four (4) courses of 6.5 credits per course; and
- one (1) skills training of 4.0 credits.
The second semester comprises:
- one (1) course of 13.0 credits, one course of 6.5 credits and one (1) elective
course of 6.5 credits; and
- one (1) skills training of 4.0 credits.
The third semester comprises:
- four (4) courses of 6.5 credits per course; and
- one (1) elective skills training of 4.0 credits.
The fourth semester comprises:
- four (4) courses of 6.5 credits per course; and
- the Capstone assignment of 4.0 credits. For students who started in the
academic year 2009-2010 or later the Capstone assignment is compulsory.
Students who started before the academic year 2009-2010 have to choose a
skills training, according to the ‘old’ study programme for Fiscal Economics.
A maximum of 4.0 credits of an elective skills training of 4.0 credits may be
substituted by doing a regular internship.
D. Bachelor of Science in International Business
The final Bachelor’s exam for the study programme in International Business is
composed of four semesters.
The first and second semester comprises:
- eight (8) courses of 6.5 credits per course; and
- one (1) skills training of 4.0 credits and one (1) elective skills training of 4.0
credits.
The third and fourth semester comprises:
- a period of study abroad of 26.0 credits,
- two (2) elective courses of 6.5 credits per course in the format of the majors as
specified in the course manual and two elective courses of 6.5 credits per
course, and
- one (1) elective skills training of 4.0 credits,
