Liebe Mitglieder, liebe Interessierte 

Wie in jedem Jahr möchten wir Euch vom Vorstand über die 

diesjährigen Aktivitäten des Institutes, über die Termine und 

die institutsinterne Entwicklung informieren. 

Zum Beginn 

Liebe Kolleginnen, liebe Kollegen, 

die Tradition, unseren Newsletter zweisprachig herauszugeben, 

scheint sich überlebt zu haben. Mitglieder und Konferenzteilnehmer 

gehen mittlerweile viel selbstverständlicher 

mit dem Gebrauch der englischen Sprache um, was auch 

daran erkennbar ist, dass einige Berichte ausschließlich in 

englischer Sprache eingereicht wurden, obwohl wir darum 

gebeten hatten, sie zusätzlich in der jeweiligen Landessprache 

einzuschicken. So sind einige Lücken entstanden. Wir 

haben versucht, diese mit Bildern zu füllen, um das zweisprachige 

Gleichgewicht zu erhalten. Für die Ausgabe 2012 

ist zu überlegen, ob wir auf die Zweisprachigkeit ganz verzichten 

und den Newsletter ausschließlich in englischer 

Sprache herausgeben. 

Im Sommer 2010 hat zum zweiten Mal im Rahmen von 

PIfE ein Wochenseminar zum Thema „ Spuren des Holocaust 

in der Gegenwart“ in Krakow und Auschwitz stattgefunden. 

Hierzu haben einige Teilnehmer gemeinsam einen 

Artikel für den Newsletter verfasst. 

Auch wenn wir im vergangenen Jahr keinen Kongress hatten, 

so waren wir bei den Moreno Days in Litauen und bei 

der Psychodrama Konferenz in Cluj vertreten. Über die 

Moreno Days berichtet Christoph Hutter und über die Konferenz 

in Cluj Hilde Gött. Wie immer folgen die Berichte 

des Vorstandes und die aus den Mitgliedsländern. 

Im Namen des Vorstandes bedanke ich mich für die gute 

Zusammenarbeit und die Begegnungen in 2010. Wir freuen 

uns darauf, auch im laufenden Jahr mit Euch an vielen 

Projekten zu arbeiten und hoffen, dass wir uns spätestens 

beim Kongress vom 16. – 18. September 2011 in Krakow 

sehen werden. 

Auf ein gemeinsames fruchtbares und erfolgreiches Jahr 

2011!

Dear members and interested readers 

With the new year approaching once again, the Board 

would like to inform you about the activities of the Institute 

this year, about appointments as well as the Institute’s internal 

development. 

To Begin 

Dear colleagues, 

our tradition of publishing our Newsletter bilingually has 

survived and members and conference participants have 

become much more confident and proficient in using the 

English language. However there are some gaps in this 

years Newsletter as some of the reports from the member 

countries were submitted to us exclusively in English, even 

though we always ask for a second version written in the 

national language of the respective country. We have filled 

the spaces with pictures in an attempt to preserve the "bilingual 

balance". For the next edition in 2012 we will have to 

consider whether to do away with the bilingual format and 

simply publish the Newsletter exclusively in English. 

In summer 2010 a one week seminar took place in Krakow 

and Auschwitz under the title "Traces of the Holocaust in 

the Present". This was sponsored (for the second time) by 

the PifE. Several of the participants have written an article 

together for the Newsletter. 

Although the PIfE did not organise a convention last year, 

representatives attended the "Moreno Days" in Lithuania 

and the Psychodrama meeting in Cluj. There is a report 

about the Moreno Days from Christoph Hutter and a report 

about the meeting in Cluj from Hilde Gött. As usual, there 

are reports from the executive board and from the individual 

member countries. 

On behalf of the executive board I would like to thank 

everyone for the excellent partnership, meetings and cooperation 

in 2010. We very much look forward to working 

together with you again on numerous projects in 2011. At 

the very latest, I hope that we see each other again during 

the convention in Krakow from 16. – 18. September 2011. 

I wish us all a successful and productive year in 2011!

Return and Discover – The Sixth Baltic Moreno 

Days in Klaipėda/Lithuania 

In August 2010 more than seventy participants from thirteen 

countries met in Klaipėda for the sixth Baltic Moreno 

Days. 

The colleagues from the Lithuanian Psychodrama Association 

decided to put two things on stage: return and discover. 

They gave time and space to return to things and ideas of 

real importance and they asked us to discover new ideas or 

new details in our life, where it seems to be very familiar to 

us. This twofold invitation to return and to discover was 

very psychodramatic, very up to date and very important: 

At first it was very psychodramatic. In every psychodramatic 

work we return to scenes and we discover them. 

Whenever we work here and now on a scene there are two 

directions to look at constantly: every scene is an invitation 

for the protagonist to return and it is an invitation to discover. 

The sixth Baltic Moreno Days issued an invitation to 

play with places worth to return and to fantasize about 

worlds worth to discover. It was an invitation as psychodramatic 

as even possible. 

Secondly the theme was up to date. The attachment theory 

says that we have two major needs: We need to be able to 

come back to people we love. We need to have a save harbour. 

In scientific words: we need to have save and sure 

attachments. AND we need to feel our potentials to explore 

the world and to create it. These are the two experiences of 

the baby in mother’s womb: Whatever I do I stay connected 

(via my umbilical cord) and whatever happens I will grow 

every day a little bit bigger. And those first experiences 

fundamentally coin our brain. So when we become born we 

come to this world with two expectations: The expectation 

to be able to return and the expectation to be able to discover… 

Finally the theme of the sixth Moreno Days was absolutely 

important. As individuals we have to know about the people 

who can be harbour for us. And the question where we find 

traditions and ideas worthwhile to return to is one of the 

central questions for our European societies in a more and 

more and quicker and quicker changing world. Also the 

theme of discovery has an individual and a sociodramatic 

side. Everybody has to find paths to discover everyday new 

the richness of the heart, the soul and the other. But also 

states and Europe and the world as a whole have to decide 

whereto they want to take off. They have to decide what 

questions they want to ask, what answers they want to accept 

and what new worlds they want to discover. 

In this way a very path breaking frame was given to the 

conference and it was filled with wonderful workshops 

about inner points of return (“my inner homeland”), about 

social dreams and happiness, about professional discoveries 

in consulting processes and pregnancy crisis counseling – 

just to name few of them.

But not only re- and discovered ideas made these sixth 

Baltic Moreno days such an amazing experience. Also a 

great organisation, an impressing sunset on the sea, an art 

and culture centre as a formidable conference site and a 

party with Lithuanian folk dances and wonderful people 

helped to make up a creative, happy and fruitful time.

Das Sommerseminar 2010 

Das Sommerseminar 2010 ist einerseits aus dem Konzept 

der Sommerakademie hervorgegangen und andererseits aus 

der inhaltlichen Arbeit von Yaacov Naor und Hilde Gött 

entstanden, die zusammen seit Jahren einen Dialog zwischen 

Juden und deutschen Nichtjuden der Nachkriegsgenerationen 

schaffen. Im Folgenden werde ich diese Entwicklung 

kurz skizzieren: 

Im Sommer 2000 fand eine Sommerakademie in 

Gârda/Transylvanien statt, die eine Mischung von Seminar, 

Freizeit, Abenteuer, Kultur war. Inhaltlich ging es um Land 

und Leute, Sagen und Mythen und die Unterbringung war 

auf Bauernhöfen oder in Zelten. 2006 hat die zweite Sommerakademie 

mit ähnlichem Konzept auf Kreta stattgefunden. 

Auch hier waren die Mythen, Sagen und Traditionen, 

die in der modernen Welt vom Untergang bedroht sind, die 

Themen. Die Workshops wurden auf den Klippen, im Cafenion 

oder im Olivenhain gehalten und die Teilnehmer wohnten 

in einer Orthodoxen Bildungsstätte. 

Im Sommer 2008 fand die Sommerakademie in Krakow und 

Auschwitz statt, diesmal mit einem veränderten Konzept. 

Um dem Thema „Spuren des Holocaust in der Gegenwart“ 

gerecht zu werden, wurden nicht wie bislang mehrere 

Workshops angeboten, sondern nur einer. Damit sollte ein 

kontinuierlicher Prozess eingeleitet werden, um einen psychodramatischen 

Raum für die Begegnung zwischen Juden 

und Nichtjuden aus den unterschiedlichen Ländern zu 

schaffen und einen neuen Umgang miteinander möglich 

machen, der im brüchigen Europa nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg 

lange nicht denkbar schien. 

Diese inhaltliche Seminararbeit hat sich bewährt und sollte 

deshalb auch beibehalten werden. Doch der Titel „Sommerakademie“ 

ist anders besetzt: Dieser Name soll Projekten 

vorbehalten bleiben, die Freizeit, Abenteuer und das Kennenlernen 

von Land &Leuten zum Ziel haben und die Möglichkeit 

bieten, auch Teilnehmer aus fernen Mitgliedslän- 

The Summer Seminar 2010 

The summer seminar 2010 was based both on the concept 

of the summer academy and on the work of Yaacov Naor 

and Hilde Gött, who for some years have worked together 

to try and develop a dialog between Jews and German non- 

Jews of the post-war generations. In the following I will 

briefly outline this work: 

In summer 2000 a summer academy took place in 

Gârda/Transylvania, which was a mixture of seminar, leisure, 

adventure and culture. The themes and topics were 

nations, people, legends and myths. The participants were 

accommodated on farms or in tents.In 2006 the second 

summer academy with a similar concept took place on 

Crete. The legends, myths and traditions which are in decline 

in the modern world, were also the topics there. The 

workshops were held on the cliffs, in cafes or in olive 

groves and the participants were accommodated in an orthodox 

college of education. 

In summer 2008 the summer academy took place in Krakow 

and Auschwitz, this time with a changed concept. In 

order to do justice to the theme "Traces of the Holocaust in 

the Present" only one workshop was presented, where previously 

several workshops had been offered. In this way a 

continuous process could be started which would help create 

a psychodrama space where encounters and contact 

between Jews and non Jews from different countries could 

take place, which for a long time had seemed impossible in 

fragile post-war Europe. 

This ideas and content of the seminar have proven to be 

particularly valuable and the seminar should be continued. 

However the title "summer academy" has another sense: 

i.e. projects which focus on adventure, leisure, learning 

about countries and people and which also encourage the 

participation of people from distant member countries and 

remote areas.

zu unserem politischen Weltbild und unserer Ethik gut 

passt, sind wir auch weiterhin daran interessiert, dass diese 

Seminare stattfinden. Somit wurde der Name „Sommerseminar“ 

geboren, der es zulässt, dass sowohl Wiederholungen, 

als auch ähnliche Projekte zu anderen Inhalten stattfinden 

können. 

Im Sommerseminar „Spuren des Holocaust in der Gegenwart“ 

werden die verschiedenen Erfahrungen der Internalisierungen 

in den Rollen der Täter und der Opfer untersucht 

und gespielt. Diese Erfahrungen können zu einer Begegnung 

mit „dem Anderen“ oder „dem Fremden“ führen. Dabei 

streben wir den Dialog an, der Wunden heilen kann. Um 

Vergebung geht es dabei nicht. 

Since the theme "Traces of the Holocaust in the present" 

passes extremely well with our political conception of the 

world and our ethics, we are very eager to continue presenting 

these seminars. Therefore the name "Summer Seminar" 

was born, a seminar which allows for the continuation of 

projects but also encourages similar projects with different 

content. 

In the summer seminar "Traces of the Holocaust in the 

present" the different experiences and internalisation of the 

roles of perpetrators and victims are acted out and examined. 

These experiences can lead to an encounter with "the 

other ones" or "the strangers". Here we strive for a dialog 

which can heal wounds. It is not about forgiveness. 

On the initiative of Claudia Mühlbauer, the group from 

summer 2010 has written a report together which is printed 

here in the Newsletter.

and Birkenau 

Experiences during the Psychodrama Training Project 

“Traces of the Holocaust in the Present” at July 5-10, 2010

Hello everybody! Would you agree to share (some of) our 

experiences with the readers of the newsletter? I would like 

to do so because the encounters with the members of the 

group was the core of the workshop in my perception. 

Theoretically I would have agreed already before the 

seminar with the thesis that one should do a work like this 

with an international group. But to experience it was really 

good. And I realized that – especially while being in 

Auschwitz and Birkenau – in some moments it made me 

feel somehow proud to be in and with a group of such a big 

diversity. 

I was interested to go to this workshop already 2 years ago 

and needed the time to dare to paticipate. And in the end it 

was a big gift in many ways: to my professional role, 

dealing with and understanding the history of my family and 

my personal development. All within one week – there was 

such an intensity which really catched me. And besides 

sharing our stories and sorrows I like to remember that we 

laughed and giggled together as well

who greatly contributed, joined me and supported me 

through the most life-changing experience I’ve had so far.

I was deeply impressed by the whole workshop and honored 

to meet people with family stories from both sides. I 

have a depp admiration for both German and Jewish culture 

and for me it was amzing being among you. 

The support I got from the group during the workshop is 

hard to describe; I remember how you giuded me, encouraged 

me and helped me fulfill long-awaited inner experiences, 

how feely I cried (and laughed), how intense and new 

everything was for me. I’ve learned a lot and I’ve changed a 

lot since then.

A few months after the workshop, I’m beginning to figure 

out why I needed to go to Auschwitz/Birkenau and this is 

giving me a whole new perspective on my life and a new 

direction in my therapy process. Thank you Hilde, Ya’acov, 

thank you all! 

It is a pleasure for me to write for this article. I miss you so 

much. 

When I heard Ya'acov, incidentally, telling someone about 

this workshop, I joined immediately. It was good for me to 

be in a small group, 13 members; it was good for me that it 

was international, not only jews and germans; it was good 

for me to have in the group jews and gentiles. 

I was most moved by the ceremonies, which each one chose 

to make in the camp in the second day, and I had the 

wonderful opportunity to use the medium of psychodrama, 

that was unknown to me, to do very deep work on my very 

early period-of-separation from my father who came back 

sick from the war, and to have him back inside me as a good 

imago. This internal work could be done only in Auswitz, 

where most of my family was murdured, with the most 

sensitive support of you, the members of the group and 

Hilde and Ya'acov, the leaders. 

This workshop, with its special structure, also opened 

possibility for me to go to Germany.Thank you all.

Eine kurze Geschichte vom Reden und Schweigen 

Ich war 2008 das erste Mal beim Workshop. Das Thema 

Spuren des Holocaust in der Gegenwart und die Art und 

Weise, wie Yaacov und Hilde das Thema umrissen haben, 

zog mich wie ein Magnet an. Die Technik des 

Psychodramas kannte ich vorher nicht. 

Schon zu Beginn der Vorstellungrunde 2008 bin ich sehr 

aufgeregt. Ich stelle mich vor als Enkelin eines SS-Täters. 

Es ist nicht das erste Mal, dass ich von der Vergangenheit 

meines Großvaters erzähle - doch etwas ist anders als sonst, 

ich merke, dass das Erzählte gehört wird. Es wird gehört 

von Menschen mit sehr unterschiedlichen Erfahrungen und

A short story of talk and silence 

For the first time I took part in the workshop in 2008. The 

subject „Traces of the Holocaust in the Presence“ and the 

way Yaacov and Hilde defined the issue, attracted me like a 

magnet. With the method of psychodrama I was not familiar 

before. 

Already at the beginning of the round of introductions I am 

very excited. I introduce myself as the granddaughter of an 

SS-perpetrator. It is not the first time for me to talk about 

the past of my grandfather- but something is different than 

before; I notice that what is said is being heard. It is being 

heard by people with very different experiences and backgrounds. 

I have a distinct sense how much this story has

Hintergründen. Ich spüre deutlich wie sehr die Geschichte 

meine Erfahrungen geprägt hat. 

In der Zeit nach dem Workshop gelingt es mir Genaueres 

über die Einheiten und Aufenthaltsorte meines Großvaters 

herauszufinden. 

Eine bis dahin eher diffuse Vorstellung von ihm als SS 

Mann füllt sich mit grausamen Details. Es entsteht eine Art 

Landkarte, ich kann zumindest die Orte, an denen er 

gewesen ist, nachvollziehen. Bei der Recherche finde ich 

Informationen zur SS, von denen ich vorher noch nie etwas 

gehört habe. 

Ich beginne von Kindern zu träumen, die in Häusern 

zusammengetrieben, erschossen und anschließend verbrannt 

werden. Ich sehe sie sterben. Sie fragen mich, warum ich sie 

nicht gerettet habe. Morgens wache ich auf mit dem sich 

ständig wiederholenden Satz in meinem Kopf. “Ich habe es 

doch nicht gemacht“. Die Geschichte rückt deutlich näher. 

Vor dem Workshop 2010 habe ich ein Gefühl von mehr 

Klarheit, hoffe das, was mich beschäftigt, mittlerweile 

genauer benennen zu können. Tatsächlich ist es so, dass ich 

mich manchmal klar und deutlich ausdrücken kann und 

dann wieder so leise oder unzusammenhängend spreche, 

dass mich niemand versteht. Es ist, als hätte sich eine große 

Klammer in meinen Kopf, die verhindert, dass ich rede, nun 

in mehrere kleine Klammern verwandelt, die ich aufdrücken 

kann. Manche von den kleinen Klammern sind gut zu 

öffnen, andere weiterhin gar nicht und wenn man sie 

anfasst, weiß man vorher nicht was passiert. 

Abschließend möchte ich noch von einer Klammer 

nachdrücklicher erzählen. Sie öffnet sich nur langsam und 

macht dabei knarrende Geräusche. Sie versteckt, wie sehr 

ich mich davor fürchte mit jemanden groß geworden zu 

sein, der sicher durch Arisierung anderen Menschen die 

Existenzgrundlage geraubt hat, die Konzentrationslager in 

Oranienburg und Dachau zumindest gesehen hat und als SS 

-Mann an der Reichspogromnacht am 9.11.1938 in Berlin 

beteiligt war. Der außerdem wahrscheinlich selber grausam 

gemordet hat oder die Morde anderer geplant und verwaltet 

hat. Und der doch bis zu seinem Tod fand, all das sei ganz 

normal gewesen.

In the aftermath of the workshop I manage to detect more 

specific information about the section of the army and the 

whereabouts of my grandfather. 

A so far diffuse notion of him as an SS-perpetrator is being 

filled with atrocious details. A kind of map emerges, at least 

I can reconstruct the places, where he has been. During my 

research I come across information about the SS, which I 

have never heard of before. 

I begin to dream of children, being rounded up in houses, 

shot and then burnt. I see them die. They question me, why 

I didn’t save them. In the morning I awake with a repetitive 

sentence in my head. „It wasn’t me who did this.“ History 

is coming considerably closer to me. 

Before the workshop in 2010 I have a feeling of more clarity, 

hopefully by now I will be able to name more clearly, 

what it is that occupies my mind. In fact it happens, that 

sometimes I can express myself more clearly and then again 

I talk so quietly and incoherently, that nobody can understand 

me. It feels as if the big clamp in my head, which 

prevents me from talking has transformed into several smaller 

clamps, which I can open. Some of the small clamps are 

easy to open, others still don´t move at all, and when you 

touch them, you never know, what will happen. 

Finally I would like to talk about one of these clamps more 

explicitly. It only opens slowly making creaky noises, while 

it does. It conceals, how afraid I am of having grown up 

with somebody, who has dispossessed people of their 

means of existence through aryanisation, who has at least 

witnessed the concentration camps in Oranienburg and 

Dachau and who was involved as an SS- soldier in the pogrom 

night in Berlin on the 9th of November 1938. Who 

has presumerably also committed murder himself or planned 

and organised murder for others. 

And who firmly believed up to his death in the normality of 

his deeds. 

In Birkenau the death machinery cannot be overlooked. 

In Birkenau sind die Tötungsfabriken nicht zu übersehen.

Den Kindern und Enkeln der damaligen profitgierigen und 

mordlustigen Feinde meines jüdischen Volkes begegnen? 

1992 höre ich in Berlin zum ersten Mal davon, dass ein 

Israeli, Yaacov Naor (Sohn polnisch-jüdischer 

Holocaustüberlebender), nach Deutschland kommen 

möchte, um gemeinsam mit den Nachkommen der NS-Täter 

und Holocaustüberlebenden ein Psychodrama- Workshop zu 

initiieren, zunächst unterstützt von der nichtjüdischen,

On whether to meet the descendants of the greedy and murderous 

enemy of my Jewish people 

It is in 1992 in Berlin that I first hear about an Israeli, Yaacov 

Naor (son of Polish-Jewish Holocaust survivors), who 

wants to come to Germany to run a psychodrama workshop 

with children of Nazi perpetrators and Holocaust survivors. 

At the time, his co-leader in Berlin is the non-Jewish German 

Hanni Lewerenz. A major breach of taboo?!

ungeheurer Tabubruch?! 

„Will ich daran wirklich teilnehmen?“, fragte ich mich 

monatelang. Ja, ich wollte. Der erste Versuch startete im 

Herbst 1992. In Folge war ich dann noch zweimal jahrelang 

in zwei unterschiedlich zusammengesetzten festen Gruppen 

verankert, die von 1994 an von der Co-Leitung, Hilde Gött 

(Berlin, in Rumänien geboren und Enkelin von SS-Tätern) 

begleitet wurden. 

Die spezielle Methodik des Psychodramas ermöglichte mir 

zweierlei: Ein ganz langsames Herantasten an den 

kollektiven und familiären Schmerz, und gleichzeitig eine 

vorsichtige, genau abwägende Begegnung mit den 

Nachkommen der NS-Täter. Ein ziemlicher Spagat, der, 

wäre er rein diskutierend verbal abgelaufen, mir nicht die 

perspektivische Zweifühlung ermöglicht hätte. 

Psychodrama- Treffen in Tel- Aviv: Eindringlich war für 

mich im Herbst 2007 das Aufeinandertreffen mit der 

israelischen 2. Generation nach dem Holocaust. Dort 

begegnete mir eine Mischung aus Stärke, anfänglichem 

Zorn, Abwehr und Fähigkeit den mir allzu vertrauten, tief 

weg gedrückten Trauerschmerz zu verdeutlichen. Dieser 

Kontext hatte für mich einen emotionalen 

Initialzündungseffekt, der mich von einer großen Last 

befreite und mir die Chance ermöglichte, meine Familie aus 

meiner ureignen Perspektive einzufühlen und zu 

beschreiben. 

An einer nur deutsch jüdisch / nichtjüdischen Psychodrama 

Gruppe teilzunehmen, die sich in Krakau und Auschwitz 

trifft, war für mich lange Jahre lang undenkbar (und ist es 

immer noch). Letztlich wurde der Weg nach Polen dadurch 

für mich machbar, weil die Möglichkeit für eine 

international zusammengestellte Mixtour von Hilde Gött 

und Yaacov Naor geschaffen wurde. 

Im Sommer 2008 fahre ich gemeinsam mit einer Gruppe 

von jüdischen und nichtjüdischen Menschen aus 

Deutschland, Rumänien, Frankreich, Litauen, Israel, Polen, 

Amerika und aus der Türkei nach Polen. 

Der Gedenkort Auschwitz hat eindringlich erschütternd auf 

mich nachgewirkt, das schrie nach Leben, das ich mir 

kreativ in der Imagination der Hochzeitsfeier meiner Eltern 

Anfang November 1945 in Krakau, in der Tempel- 

Synagoge, nach erschuf, als Yaacov Naor mich vor Ort bat, 

den anderen etwas von meinen Eltern zu erzählen. Und trotz 

allem oder gerade deswegen (?) entstand neues Leben, in 

Deutschland Ende der 1940er und Anfang der 1950er Jahre. 

Gibt es immer noch Grenzen zwischen nichtjüdischen 

deutschen Teilnehmern und mir? Ja, unsere deutsche 

Sprache bringt es oftmals blitzschnell zu Tage: Sprache, 

wenn sie unvermittelt, spontan heraussprudelt, lässt 

Rückschlüsse auf die familiäre Herkunft zu, setzt Phantasien 

frei... 

“Do I really want to take part?” I asked myself for months. 

Yes, I did. The first attempt was in the autumn of 1992. 

After that, I became involved in two different groups, for 

years at a time, co-led from 1994 by Romanian-born Hilde 

Gött (granddaughter of SS perpetrators, in Berlin). 

The specific methodology of psychodrama worked for me 

in two ways: First, it offered a very slow approach to collective 

and familial pain, and secondly it offered a careful, 

deliberative encounter with descendants of Nazi perpetrators. 

Quite a balancing act, which, had it involved only 

discussion, would not have enabled me to experience the 

perspective of reciprocal affectivity. 

Psychodrama meeting in Tel Aviv: What was most important 

for me in the autumn of 2007 was the meeting with the 

2nd post-Holocaust generation of Israelis. There I encountered 

a mix of strength, initial anger, defensiveness and the 

ability to clarify that all-too-familiar, deeply repressed, 

painful sadness. For me, this context had the effect of a 

blast-off, freeing me from a heavy burden and allowing me 

to empathize with and describe my family from my own 

perspective. 

For many years, it had been (and remains) unthinkable for 

me to participate in the psychodrama group that met in 

Krakow and Auschwitz and whose participants were all 

German Jews and non-Jews. In the end, I was only able to 

go to Poland because Hilde Gött and Yaacov Naor created a 

mixed, international tour. 

Thus in the summer of 2008 I travelled to Poland with a 

group of Jews and non-Jews from Germany, Romania, 

France, Lithuania, Israel, Poland, America, and Turkey. 

The impact of the Auschwitz memorial was vividly shocking. 

Survival was a cry for life: When Yaacov Naor asked 

me, at the Tempel Synagogue in Krakow, to tell the others 

something about my parents, I pictured their wedding at this 

very spot in early November 1945. Yes, in spite of everything, 

or maybe because of everything (?), new life was 

created in Germany toward the end of the 1940s and early 

1950s. 

Are there still boundaries between non-Jewish German 

participants and me? Yes, our German language often 

brings issues rapidly to light: Speech, when it bursts out 

abruptly and spontaneously, prompts one to draw conclusions 

about family background, to imagine the worst... This 

creates distance, sometimes more, sometimes less. 

But in psychodrama everyone can receive impulses toward 

reflection, through sharing and roll feedback, or through 

identification feedback, all of which extend the emotional 

horizon and lead one to question one’s own perception and 

self-image. It is a painstakingly long process. If this succeeds 

on both sides, friendships are possible. Trust builds 

bridges, stone by stone, brick by brick…

Das schafft Distanz, manchmal mehr, manchmal weniger. 

Doch im Psychodrama kann jeder aufgrund des Sharings, 

der Rollenfeedbacks, oder mit Hilfe von 

Identifikationsrückmeldungen Impulse zum Nachdenken 

erhalten, die den emotionalen Horizont erweitern und die 

eigene Wahrnehmung und das Fremdbild hinterfragen. Das 

ist ein kleinschrittiger und langwieriger Prozess. 

Wenn dies beidseitig glückt, sind Freundschaften möglich. 

Vertrauen erbaut Stege, Steinchen für Steinchen, Hölzchen 

für Hölzchen… 

Für mich ist es ganz besonders erlebnisreich, wenn 

Teilnehmer aus Israel partizipieren. Es bringt mich in 

Kontakt mit einer Sehnsucht nach Verbundenheit und 

gleichzeitig mit meiner realen Lebenssituation, Jüdin in 

Deutschland und Tochter von polnischen Juden zu sein. 

Nähe und Fremdheit in einem. 

Die Annäherung an meine Familie und das gesellschaftliche 

Eingebettet Sein in meine nichtjüdische Umwelt habe ich 

2009 in meinem Buch „Das Glück hat mich umarmt“ 

beschrieben, um aufzuzeigen, wie sehr die Nachgeborenen 

beider Seiten u. a. durch Scham, Angstabwehr, Zorn und 

Widerstand geprägt sind. 

Berlin: Seit Herbst 2009 nehme ich an einer Psychodrama 

Ausbildung teil und erfuhr, welche emotionalen Irrläufer 

passieren können, wenn verschiedene Identitäten 

aufeinander stoßen, insbesondere dann, wenn Leitung und 

Gruppe unbewusst abwehrend sind und kein ausreichender 

Raum geboten wird, um Verhaltensweisen 

psychodramatisch zu experimentieren. 

Im Sommer 2010 nahm ich nochmals auf Initiative von 

Hilde Gött und Yaacov Naor an einer international, bunt 

gemischten Gruppe teil, die sich in Krakau und Auschwitz 

traf und die dadurch für mich berührend war, weil drei 

Teilnehmer, etwa im Alter meiner Tochter, dabei waren. 

Das erinnerte mich an den Buchtitel „ Die Hoffnung stirbt 

zuletzt“ von meiner geistigen „Ziehmutter“ und israelischen 

Schriftstellerin Halina Birenbaum, die aus Warschau stammt 

und alle Stationen der Verfolgung von 1942 bis 1945 als 

Mädchen in Polen durchlitten und überlebt hat. Ich lernte 

Halina Birenbaum 1989 in Berlin kennen, anlässlich des 

israelischen Dokumentarfilmes „Wegen jenes Krieges“. Ihr 

Darüberreden, ihr Durchbrechen des Schweigens und ihr 

spürbarer Stolz einer polnisch jüdischen Familie zu 

entstammen, war der Beginn meiner kreativen Öffnung nach 

Innen und Außen. 

It is especially rewarding for me when participants come 

from Israel. This confronts me with my longing for connectedness 

and also with my real-life situation as a Jew in 

Germany and the daughter of Polish Jews. Closeness and 

distance, in one. 

I described this act of coming closer to my family and the 

sense of being socially embedded in my non-Jewish environment 

in my book, “Luck Embraced Me” (2009), in order 

to show how deeply the second generation on both sides is 

marked by such feelings as shame, fear, defense, anger and 

resistance. 

Berlin: Since the autumn of 2009 I have been taking part in 

a psychodrama-training program and have learned about the 

emotional crises that may arise when identities clash, especially 

if the directors and group are unconsciously defensive 

and if there is not enough space provided for psychodramatic 

experimentation. 

In the summer of 2010 I again took part in a diverse international 

group that met in Krakow and Auschwitz on the 

initiative of Hilde Gött and Yaacov Naor. The result was 

emotionally moving, because three participants were the 

same age as my daughter. It reminded me of the book "Hope 

is the last to die" by Israeli writer Halina Birenbaum: my 

spiritual "foster mother," who came from Warsaw, suffered 

through all the stages of persecution from 1942 to 1945 as a 

girl in Poland, and survived. I met Halina Birenbaum in 

1989 in Berlin, in connection with the Israeli documentary 

film, “Because of That War”. Her ability to speak about the 

past, her breaking of the silence and her palpable pride in 

coming from a Polish Jewish family triggered my own 

creative awakening, both to myself and others.

The decision to take part in this workshop was not an easy 

one for me. Once again deal with this topic? No: still! 

From the first day it was obvious that it was right, I belong 

here, to this places, to this group. Today, some months 

later, some impressions faded. What has stayed is an intense 

and warm feeling concerning the people in the group. 

We share an individual need to search for the traces of the 

Holocaust and to reveal them. And experience them – in the 

sense of Morenos definition of encouter. 

I was most impressed by the young paticipants – the third 

generation: less than 30 years old, coming from Belorussia, 

Romania and Sweden. Their committment and their seriousness 

admonished me to go on and not to forget – like it 

is said at the memorials in Birkenau: 

FOR EVER LET THIS PLACE BE A CRY OF DESPAIR 

UND WARNING TO HUMANITY, WHERE THE NAZIS 

MURDERED ABOUT ONE AND A HALF MILLION 

MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN, MAINLY JEWS

In the near future I plan to do honorary work in one of the 

former “Concentration Camps” near Berlin. 

It was a lovely summer day in Auschwitz. 

A white butterfly flew through the barbed wire 

A gentle breeze blew through death’s waiting room 

A little girl with a bow in her hair skipped across the unloading 

platform 

There was a fragrant smell of clover near the women’s 

camp. 

A black buttefly rested for a moment on a dandelion. 

The sound of a lawn mower was heard near ´Mexico´. 

Birds chirped on the way to ´Canada´. 

A nun rode a bicycle by the nursery school for Czech children. 

A man enjoyed an ice-cream cone by the railway track. 

Teenagers in expensive running shoes applauded the tour 

guide. 

A couple on a bench looked at the water pools for the 

planned extension. 

White clouds drifted over the gypsy family camp. 

Israelis sang Hatikvah behind the sign ´Keep off the ruins´. 

A little boy in a bright green T-shirt took pictures of a gas

The Second Generation to the Holocaust 

Traces of the Past in the Present 

This is a story which was never told. This is the hidden 

secret story of the second generation. We are the memorial 

candles. We are the ones who could never speak up since 

we were always busy protecting our parents, trying to prevent 

them from further pain beyond their Holocaust sufferings. 

And now our parents are aging and dying and what will be 

with us? What will be with our deep need to scream, to tell 

our story which we could never tell? We felt all these years 

that no one would or could listen to us. The main story, the 

important story was of the survivors themselves. We were 

only bridges trying to keep our sanity above troubled water. 

And the story goes on from generation to generation and 

now we also deal with our children and maybe also with 

our grandchildren. What is the legacy we want to pass on to 

the next generations? What kind of memories we have? 

What kind of traumas our body remembers? What do we 

want to remember and what to forget? 

And our stories are full with colorful feelings, pain, rage, 

anger, frustration, aggression which was inflicted on us 

with no reason, arbitrarily. We lost our childhood. We 

could not experience the joy of playing. We ran into our 

imagination. This is why so many of us are artists trying 

desperately to make meaning in this destroyed world. 

We live in a constant inner war, inner conflict, either to 

reveal the truth or to stay with the mask on. We are survivors 

too. We were not there but the Holocaust affected us 

too. 

We had and still have a strong experience of the Holocaust 

as the background even more than our parents. Our parents 

were at least born into a world without a Holocaust. They 

had a childhood. But, we, their children, did not. 

We were flooded with our parent's emotions, memories and 

experience. Many of us still dream nightmares and are occupied 

with what our parents could not tell us. Our role 

while growing up in our families was to rescue our families 

and compensate for our parents suffering. Many of us were 

named after relatives who were killed in the Holocaust. 

This created in many cases identity problems. This created 

in many of us the death in life feeling. 

We all experience difficulty departing. Still for many of us 

departing is an experience of loss or death. We, the second 

generation, incorporate both the victim and the aggressor 

into our inner world. 

Some of us, like our parents, cannot enjoy our life. The 

danger is around the corner. Who knows when a new disaster 

will fall upon us? From where do we get our hope?

We carry with us till the present uncontrolled anger, guilt 

and shame. We feel vulnerable. We are sensitive people 

walking at times on a thin line. The world is perceived by 

many of us as hostile, oppressive and threatening. We use 

our families to unite against it

Colocviul de încheiere în cadrul SPJLM şi PIfE 

din Cluj-Napoca. 

Al doilea colocviu organizat de Societatea de Psihodramă 

„J. L. Moreno” şi PIfE s-a desfăşurat la Cluj-Napoca la data 

de 13-14 octombrie 2010 în care colegii absolvenţi au fost 

pregătiţi de formatori români. 

La colocviu au participat 9 candidaţi, dintre care 8 veneau 

din grupul de limba română formaţi de Luminiţa Felezeu şi 

Dr. Horaţiu Albini si o candidată din grupul de limba 

maghiară pregătit de Zsuzsa Roşca şi Ilona Szilagyi. Mă 

bucur să văd cât de firesc este cooperarea grupurilor care au 

făcut formarea în limba maghiară şi limba română deoarece 

trei lucrări au fost scrise în limba maghiară dar voluntar 

prezentate în limba română. 

Comisia de colocviu a fost formată din: reprezentaţii 

ambelor grupuri: Luminiţa Felezeu, Zsuzsa Rosca; 

preşedintele SPJLM: Dr. Horaţiu Albini, preşedinta comisiei 

profesionale: Eva Varro si preşedinta PIfE, Hilde Gött . 

A fi membră în comisia de colocviu a însemnat pentru mine 

să citesc lucrările finale de absolvire ale candidaţilor şi ca 

urmare să aflu care sunt subiectele şi temele lucrărilor şi al 

domeniului în care se practică psihodrama. 

Pe lângă temele terapeutice şi pedagogice care se ocupă cu 

autocunoaştere, dezvoltarea personală, curajul de a se arăta 

în grup, cu încredere şi apartenenţă, cu iertare şi 

reconciliere, teme psihodramă în alte domenii ca de 

exemplu în comunitatea terapeutică sau muzica ca un 

element în psihodramă dar chiar şi teme social politice 

brizante ca prelucrarea abuzului sexual , poziţia interioară şi 

exterioară a femei şi pentru prima dată o reflectare a 

rezistenţei în schimbarea comunismului. 

Fiecare absolvent a prezentat timp de 30 minute câteva 

aspecte psihodramatice ale lucrărilor, după care s-au 

discutat câteva întrebări legate de acestea şi un feedback de 

apreciere meritată de la comisia de colocviu a rotunjit aceste 

demonstraţii. 

Modul de procedeu deosebit la colocviu din Cluj este că pot 

să asiste ca spectatori colegi care vin să ţină pumnii, alţi 

colegi în formare sau şi supervizori. Pentru ei toţi, acest 

The colloquium of SPJLM and PIfE in Cluj- 

Napoca 

The second colloquium of psychodramatists trained by 

Romanian trainers organized by SPJLM and PIfE took 

place in Cluj-Napoca from October 13 th to 14 th 2010 with 

nine graduates. Eight of them were trained by Luminita 

Felezeu and Dr. Horatiu Albini, and one by Zsuzsa Rosca 

and Ilona Szilagyi. 

I was very glad to assist at the self evident cooperation of 

groups which are trained in Romanian or in Hungarian. 

Three of the final theses were written in Hungarian but 

presented voluntary at the colloquium in Romanian. 

The commission members were: the representatives of the 

training groups: Luminita Felezeu and Zsuzsa Rosca, the 

president of SPJLM: Dr. Horatiu Albini, the president of 

the training commission, Eva Varro and me as the president 

of PIfE: Hilde Gött. 

To be a member of this commission means for me to read 

all the theses of the graduates, to get to know their subjects 

and themes and at the same time to find out about the fields 

where psychodrama is being practised. 

Beside of the therapeutic themes like self-awareness, personal 

development, the courage to show oneself in groups, 

to trust and to belong, forgiveness and reconciliation, also 

themes of psychodrama in other fields like the therapeutic 

community, to combine psychodrama and music, there 

were written themes with social politic relevance like the 

sexual abuse, the inner and external position of women and 

for the first time to reflect the resistance of changing the 

communism structure. 

Every graduate had 30 minutes to present some psychodramatic 

aspects of their theses, which was discussed afterwards 

and at the end he or she got a feedback of appreciation 

from the members of the commission. 

The special mood of the colloquium in Cluj-Napoca is to 

invite audience to the colloquium. 

So colleagues can keep their fingers crossed for the graduates 

or other colleagues in training but also supervisors are

Vorstandsbericht 2010 

Das Jahr 2010 war für uns ein Jahr der Konfliktklärung, der 

Klärung ethischer Standpunkte und der Konsolidierung. 

Nach der Rückschau und der Feier unseres 20-jährigen 

Bestehens im Jahre 2009 war es 2010 notwendig, uns den 

Inhalten, den Strukturen und dem Miteinander zuzuwenden. 

So hatte der neue Vorstand, der im September 2009 in 

Vilnius gewählt wurde, alle Hände voll zu tun. Er musste 

sich finden und sich zugleich in einem Konfliktfeld 

positionieren. Was war geschehen? 

Executive Board Report 2010 

The year 2010 was for us a year of trying to explain conflicts, 

of the clarification of ethical viewpoints, and of consolidation. 

After the reflections and celebration of our 20th 

anniversary in 2009, in 2010 it was necessary for us to look 

at the content of our work, the structures, our cooperation 

with others and how we work together. Consequently the 

new executive board, which was elected in Vilnius in September 

2009, had much to do. The board members had to 

learn to work in partnership and at the same time form 

strategies and points of view in the fields of conflict. What 

happened?

Konflikt mit HAGAP 

Wir geben hier die Position des Vorstands zum 

gegenwärtigen Zeitpunkt wieder und stellen unsere Sicht der 

Dinge in der Hoffnung dar, dass in einer offenen und fairen 

Auseinandersetzung mit unseren griechischen Kollegen 

Transparenz entsteht. 

In der griechischen Oberstufen-Ausbildungsgruppe war im 

Dezember 2009 ein Konflikt aufgetreten, der bis heute nicht 

geklärt werden konnte. Aufgrund der Auseinandersetzung 

über ethische Grundfragen, wurde in der Oberstufengruppe 

die Zusammenarbeit mit der Ausbildungsleitung von Teilen 

der Gruppe aufgekündigt und es kam zu einer Spaltung der 

Gruppe und des Leitungsteams. Im Hintergrund dieser 

Auseinandersetzungen standen die Kollegen von HAGAP, 

mit denen der Konflikt offen angesprochen, aber nicht 

geklärt werden konnte. Dies führte von unserer Seite zu 

einer Unterbrechung der Ausbildung, in der Hoffnung die 

unterschiedlichen Auffassungen zu klären und die 

Kooperation weiterhin zu gewährleisten. 

Anstrengungen mit HAGAP diesbezüglich zu verhandeln 

sind von unserer Seite in vielfältiger Weise unternommen 

worden: Eduardo Verdú ist im März/April zu Gesprächen 

nach Athen gereist. Dieser Mediationsversuch wurde 

aufgrund einer Empfehlung der vom Vorstand angerufenen 

Ethikkommission durchgeführt. Leider hat HAGAP 

unserem Kollegen, Giorgos Chaniotis der für die 

Psychodramasektion in Hagap zuständig ist, das Mandat zur 

Verhandlung entzogen. Die Mediation brachte keinen 

Erfolg, so dass es bei der Spaltung der Gruppe blieb. Auf all 

unsere Angebote, die Ausbildung beider Gruppenteile 

unabhängig voneinander zu beenden wurde von HAGAP 

nicht reagiert. 

Unklar blieb darüber hinaus, auf welcher vertraglichen 

Grundlage die Ausbildung erfolgte, welchen vertraglichen 

Verpflichtungen PIfE zu genügen habe. Die 

Auseinandersetzung darüber fand in einem Schriftwechsel 

mit rechtsanwaltlicher Unterstützung mit dem Ergebnis 

statt, dass PIfE die Zusammenarbeit in der Ausbildung mit 

HAGAP mit Wirkung vom 30. 9. gekündigt hat. 

Kongress 2011 

Ein anderer heikler Punkt war und ist der Kongress 2011. 

Hier hatte die MV in Vilnius mit großer Freude den 

Vorschlag des Vorstandes, den nächsten Kongress in 

Griechenland durchzuführen, aufgenommen. Im Frühjahr 

2010 erschien es fraglich, ob angesichts des massiven 

Konflikts der Kongress tatsächlich in Griechenland 

abgehalten werden könnte. Die Vorbereitungen wurden 

unterbrochen. Bei seiner Sitzung im September 2010 in 

Berlin beschloss der Vorstand, dass der Kongress 2011 wie 

geplant in Griechenland stattfinden sollte; von Seiten des 

Vorstandes wurden dazu inhaltliche Vorgaben gesetzt. 

Dieses Angebot wurde bereits unter Zeitdruck unterbreitet. 

Ende November erreichte uns ein Programmvorschlag und 

eine Kalkulation von unseren griechischen Kollegen. Die 

Kalkulation hätte nach Einschätzung des Vorstandes ein 

Conflict with HAGAP 

I will explain the position of the executive board at the 

present time and give our view of matters in the hope that 

transparency ensues after an open and impartial discussion 

with our Greek colleagues. 

A conflict arose in the Greek advanced course education 

group in December 2009, which to this day has not been 

clarified. Discussions involving fundamental ethical questions 

and events that occurred led to part of the group terminating 

the cooperation with the education course leadership, 

resulting in a split of the group and the management 

team. The background of these problems involved the colleagues 

from HAGAP, with whom the conflict has been 

openly discussed but never clarified. This led to a break 

down in the education on our part in the hope of clarifying 

the various problems and eventually continuing the cooperation. 

On our part great efforts were made to mediate with HA- 

GAP and address this problem: Eduardo Verdú travelled to 

Athens in March/April for discussions. This mediation 

attempt was the result of a recommendation from a meeting 

of the ethics commission called by the executive board. Our 

colleague Giorgos Chaniotis, who is responsible for the 

psychodrama section of Hagap unfortunately had his mandate 

for negotiation withdrawn by HAGAP. The mediation 

was not successful and the group remained split in two. 

There was no reaction from HAGAP to our repeated offers 

to complete the education with both parts of the group independently 

from each other. 

It remained unclear on what contractual basis the education 

was conducted and what contractual obligations the PIfE 

had to satisfy. Discussions about this took place through 

correspondence and with legal support, resulting in the PIfE 

terminating the training and education cooperation with 

HAGAP with effect of the 30.09. 

Congress 2011 

Another delicate point was and is the congress in 2011. 

Here the GM (general meeting) in Vilnius was happy to 

adopt the suggestion of the executive board to hold the next 

convention in Greece. In the spring of 2010 it looked questionable 

(in view of the serious conflict) whether the convention 

could actually be held in Greece. The preparations 

were interrupted. During a meeting in September 2010 in 

Berlin the executive board decided that the 2011 convention 

should take place in Greece as planned, but under certain 

specific conditions : 

This suggestion has already fallen victim to the pressure of 

time. At the end of November we received a programme 

suggestion and a financial assessment from our Greek colleagues. 

In the opinion of the executive board the plans 

represented too much of a financial risk - The PIfE would

nicht zu verantwortendes finanzielles Risiko dargestellt - 

PIfE hätte als Vorleistungen bis zum Februar 2011 ca. 

50.000,- EUR zahlen müssen, dieses Geld ist nicht 

vorhanden und der Verein hätte für alle Ausfälle haften 

müssen. Außerdem hätte der kalkulierte Kongressbeitrag es 

für viele potentielle Teilnehmer aus Ost- und Mitteleuropa 

unmöglich gemacht, am Kongress teilzunehmen. Darüber 

hinaus waren die inhaltlichen Vorgaben des Vorstandes 

weitestgehend ignoriert worden. 

Wir erklärten uns außerstande, die Planung gemeinsam zu 

realisieren und haben unseren Kollegen mitgeteilt, dass ihr 

Angebot für uns nicht verhandlungsfähig sei. Mit der 

Absage boten wir unseren griechischen Kollegen an, die 

bereits entstandenen Kosten zu teilen. 

Der PIfE Kongress 2011 wird nunmehr vom 16. bis 20. 

September (ACHTUNG: geänderter Termin!) in Kraków 

stattfinden. Der erste Aufruf ist beigefügt. Wir bedanken uns 

ganz herzlich bei unseren Polnischen Kolleginnen und 

Kollegen, die die Vorbereitung kurzfristig übernommen 

haben. 

Mehr Kontakt im internationalen Vorstand 

Der Vorstand hat seine Arbeitsweise verändert. Bisher 

wurden die Alltagsgeschäfte vom geschäftsführenden 

Vorstand geführt, der sich mehrmals im Jahr getroffen hat. 

In den letzten Jahren haben wir versucht den internationalen 

Vorstand immer mehr in die Belange einzubeziehen. 

Aufgrund der neueren Technik und Medien ist die räumliche 

Distanz der Vorstandsmitglieder problemlos zu 

überbrücken, d.h. über Konferenzschaltung und Skype sind 

gemeinsame Sitzungen leicht durchzuführen. So hat sich der 

geschäftsführende Vorstand in diesem Jahr nicht 

gemeinsam, sondern lediglich in zweier Konstellationen 

getroffen. Aber der Gesamtvorstand (Internationale 

Vorstand) hat sich zu einem Arbeitswochenende in Berlin 

getroffen und 4-mal mehrere Stunden miteinander 

geskyped. In diesen Sitzungen wurden sowohl das 

Konfliktmanagement für die Auseinandersetzung mit 

HAGAP abgesprochen, als auch weitere Belange der 

einzelnen Mitgliedsländer geklärt. 

FEPTO – Meeting 

Fred Dorn und Hilde Gött sind zum FEPTO-Treffen 2010 

Nach Belgrad gefahren. Die Jahrestagung stand unter dem 

Motto: „Living on the Borderline“ . Die Veranstaltung 

machte ihrem Titel alle Ehre, denn die Jahrestagung hat in 

April zu der Zeit stattgefunden, als die Vulkanasche des 

Eyjafjallajökull den Flugraum über Europa lahmgelegt 

hatte. Von 110 TeilnehmerInnen konnten nur 55 zum Teil 

mit großer Mühe und über Umwege, mit dem Auto oder mit 

Zügen in Belgrad ankommen. Die TeilnehmerInnen 

tauschten ihre Abenteuer und Reiseerlebnisse aus. Die 

Tagesordnung musste in jeder Pause den Gegebenheiten 

angepasst werden. Trotzdem war die Stimmung gut und 

diejenigen die kommen konnten, haben den Kontakt zu den 

anderen die verhindert waren gehalten. Der Verlauf 

erinnerte mich an die Zeiten, als zur Jahrestagung zwischen 

50 und 60 TeilnehmerInnen kamen. Die Arbeitsgruppen 

have had to pay an advance of approx. 50.000,-EUR before 

February 2011. This money was simply not available and 

the organization would have also been liable for any losses. 

In addition, the estimated registration fees were so high it 

would have made it impossible for many potential participants 

from east and Central Europe to take part in the convention. 

Over and above this the recommendations of the 

executive board concerning the content of the convention 

had been largely ignored. We concluded that it was no 

longer possible to work together on these plans and informed 

our Greek colleagues that their suggestions were 

unacceptable. Along with this rejection we offered to share 

the costs already incurred by our Greek colleagues. 

The 2011 PIfE convention (Attention: changed appointment!) 

will now be held in Krakow from September 16th to 

20th. The first call is enclosed. We warmly thank our Polish 

colleagues who have taken on the preparations at such short 

notice. 

More contact with the International Executive Board 

The executive board has changed it's way of working. Until 

recently the everyday business was conducted by the managing 

executive board which met several times each year. 

In recent years we have tried to involve the international 

executive board more in our work. Thanks to modern technology 

and media the distances between members of the 

executive board can be easily bridged, i.e. common meetings 

can be set up using conference link-ups and Skype. So 

this year the managing executive board worked in different 

constellations without actually having to meet "physically". 

The Combined Executive Board (international executive 

board) met for a working weekend in Berlin and also spent 

more hours "together" using skype four times. In these 

meetings the conflict management organised for the dialogue 

with HAGAP was clarified and other interests of the 

individual member countries were discussed. 

FEPTO – Meeting 

Fred Dorn and Hilde Gött travelled to Belgrade to attend 

the 2010 FEPTO meeting held there. The annual conference 

was convened under the motto: “Living on the Borderline”. 

The event certainly earned it's title as the conference took 

place in April when the ash of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano 

had paralysed flights over Europe. Of the 110 participants 

due to attend only 55 were able to reach Belgrade, in general 

by car or train and after enormous effort and many 

detours. The participants exchanged stories about their 

adventures and experiences on their journeys. The agenda 

had to be adapted to the circumstances during every break 

but the atmosphere was nevertheless good and those who 

had made the journey were able to contact those who had 

been unable to travel. The course of the meeting reminded 

me of previous times when between 50 and 60 participants 

was “normal” for the annual conference. Working groups

zum Thema Frieden, Networking, Forschung und 

Sexualstörungen stellten ihre Arbeitsstruktur vor. Der 

Nachkongress zum Thema „Psychodrama zwischen 

Therapie und Kunst“ hatte deshalb auch weniger 

TeilnehmerInnen und KollegInnen sprangen für Workshops 

ein, was der Qualität keinen Abbruch tat. Der Rahmen für 

das Jahrestreffen und die Postkonferenz waren hervorragend 

organisiert, die Stimmung, der Service und der Staff waren 

herzlich, flexibel und toll. Der FEPTO-council hatte alle 

Hände voll zu tun um die Tagesordnung ständig zu 

verändern. All dies wurde würdevoll taktvoll und mit 

Humor getragen. 

Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass unsere 

Mitgliedsorganisation aus Krakow der „Polnische 

Psychodrama Verein“ als neues Mitglied in der FEPTO 

aufgenommen wurde. Wir freuen uns darüber und 

gratulieren den KollegInnen sehr herzlich. 

Im Sommer wurde ein dreitägiger Workshop zur 

Psychodramaforschung in Portugal organisiert. Bis im 

letzten Jahr hatte unser verstorbener Kollege Norbert Busse- 

Heise in der Forschungs-AG mitgearbeitet. PIfE Mitglieder 

arbeiten sowohl in der Forschungsgruppe als auch in der 

Network-Gruppe mit. 

Die Aktivitäten der FEPTO, Informatives zur Organisation 

sowie der Newsletter werden über das Internet veröffentlicht 

und können auf der Website: www.fepto.eu eingesehen 

werden. 

Vertretung bei Kongressen 

2010 war der PIfE-Vorstand bei den Moreno Days in 

Klaipėda durch Dr. Christoph Hutter und bei der nationalen 

Psychodramatagung in Cluj/Rumänien durch Hilde Gött 

vertreten. 

In Cluj hat vor der Tagung ein Kolloquium unter dem 

Vorsitz von Hilde Gött stattgefunden bei dem 9 frisch 

gebackene PsychodramatikerInnen ihre Zertifikate erhielten. 

Es ist die dritte Oberstufe die von rumänischen Ausbildern 

und zwar Horatiu Albini und Iris Felezeu abgeschlossen hat. 

An einer anderen Stelle werden wir die Titel der 

Abschlussarbeiten veröffentlichen. 

Website 

Die Website wird sowohl in deutscher als auch in englischer 

Sprache besucht. Das auf Anregung von Mitgliedern 

eröffnete Gästebuch wird jedoch bisher nicht genutzt. Die 

Neuerungen auf der Website sind etwas verspätet ins 

Internet gestellt worden. Dafür entschuldigen wir uns und 

geloben Besserung. Unsere Website ist unter der Adresse: 

www.pife-europe.eu.eu zu finden. 

Ausbildungen in verschiedenen Ländern 

Gemäß den Aufgaben aus unserer Satzung stand in den 

letzten zwei Jahren wieder die personelle und finanzielle 

Unterstützung der Psychodramaausbildung in unseren 

Mitgliedsländern auf unserer Agenda. Die einzelnen 

Projekte werden im Folgenden aufgeführt: 

on the topics of Peace, Networking, Research, and Sexual 

Disturbances presented their work. The “post” convention 

on the topic “Psychodrama between Therapy and Art” also 

had less participants which meant colleagues had to stand in 

at short notice to present workshops, which did not detract 

from the quality of the work however. The annual meeting 

and the “post” conference were superbly organized, the 

framework, the atmosphere and the service were excellent 

and the Staff were kind and flexible. Having to permanently 

change the agenda, the FEPTO Council had their hands full, 

but everything was organized and accepted with dignity, 

tact and good humour. 

Of special note was the fact of our member organisation 

from Krakow, the “Polish Psychodrama Organization”, 

being accepted as a new member of FEPTO. We are delighted 

about this and warmly congratulate our Polish colleagues. 

In summer a three-day workshop for Psychodrama- 

Research was organized in Portugal. Until his death last 

year, our colleague Norbert Busse-Heise had collaborated 

in the research AG (research company). Other PIfE members 

work both in the research group and in the network 

group.

as well as the Newsletter, are published in the internet and 

can be seen on the FEPTO Website: www.fepto.eu . 

Representation at Conventions 

In 2010 the PIfE executive board was represented at the 

Moreno Days in Klaipëda by Dr. Christoph Hutter and 

represented at the National Psychodrama Conference in 

Cluj/Romania by Hilde Gött. 

Just before the conference in Cluj a colloquium took place 

with Hilde Gött as chairwoman, where 9 newly qualified 

psychodramatists received their certificates. This was the 

third advanced course completed under Romanian instructors 

(actually Horatiu Albini and Iris Felezeu). We will 

publish the titles of their final work in another report. 

Website 

The website is visited in both the German and English language 

versions. Up until now however the “guest book”, 

actually introduced on suggestion of the members themselves, 

has not been used. The new updates for the Website 

were published on the internet after some delay. We 

apologize for this and promise an improvement in the future.

In accordance with our rules and statutes, our agenda over 

the last two years again included the personnel and financial 

support of psychodrama training and education in our

→ Supervision für Ausbildungskandidaten und Leiter 

unter der Leitung von Bernd Fichtenhofer findet 

statt. 

Hier wurden nur die Gruppen und Aktivitäten aufgeführt die 

von PIfE aktiv gefördert wurden. Darüber hinaus sind wir 

sehr stolz, dass es in einigen Ländern Ausbildungsgruppen 

gibt, die in Eigenregie von Kollegen und Kolleginnen aus 

den jeweiligen Mitgliedsländern geleitet werden. 

So gibt es inzwischen einige Grundstufen und Oberstufen in 

Rumänien, einige Grundstufen und die erste Oberstufe in 

Polen und drei Grundstufen in der Ukraine die sich selbst 

tragen und von PIfE nur noch in Form von Supervision für 

die Oberstufen und für die LeiterInnen finanziell unterstützt 

werden.

sponsored by the PIfE. Over and above this we are very 

proud that there are now training and education groups in 

sevaral individual countries which are conducted and managed 

by the respective countries own members. 

At the present time there are some elementary and advanced 

courses in Romania, some elementary courses and the first 

advanced course in Poland and three elementary courses in 

the Ukraine which are all self-managed. The PIfE just conducts 

the supervision for the advanced courses and offers 

financial support for the leaders. 

A new institute in Lithuania has applied to us for member-

für jegliche Art von Mitarbeit, Unterstützung und 

Engagement, sei es in der Arbeit im Verein, bei der 

Durchführung einzelner Seminare, im Einspringen für 

Kollegen, durch Einsatz bei der Gestaltung des 

Institutslebens oder auch bei Konflikten. All das war uns 

eine große Unterstützung! Wir hoffen sehr, dass diese 

Atmosphäre des gemeinsamen miteinander Arbeitens auch 

im Jahre 2011 anhält, denn sie wirkt auf uns identiätsstiftend

Neues aus den Mitgliedsländern 

Psychodrama-Institut für Europa – 

Landesverband Deutschland e.V. 

Liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen, 

wir freuen uns sehr, für das Jahr 2011 ein kompaktes und 

umfangreiches Weiterbildungsprogramm vorlegen zu 

können. Diesmal sind Angebote aus dem pädagogischen und 

therapeutischen Psychodrama sowie aus dem Sektor 

Personal- und Organisationsentwicklung dabei. Das 

Programm strahlt Kompetenz aus und zeigt mehr Vielfalt 

(www.psychodramainstitut.de) Es zeigt aber auch ein gutes 

Stück Optimismus: Wir trauen dem Psychodrama und auch 

uns wieder mehr zu. Das freut uns sehr. Viele von uns sind 

daran beteiligt und manches ist dafür zusammengekommen. 

Die Mitgliederversammlung hat uns inspiriert – Mitglieder 

engagieren sich mit neuen Angeboten, der Vorstand plant 

und koordiniert, aber damit dann wirklich alles 

zusammenkommt, braucht es die ordnende und gestaltende 

Hand von Julia Pischetsrieder. Die Weiterbildungsangebote 

des Jahres 2010 sind fast alle angenommen worden. Auch 

wirtschaftlich ist die Lage des Instituts stabiler geworden. 

Konsequente Sparsamkeit und erfolgreiche Veranstaltungen 

haben das möglich gemacht. Diese Entwicklung macht Mut. 

Dabei wirken sich auch inhaltliche Entscheidungen positiv 

aus, die unter dem Vorsitz von Norbert Busse-Heise 

getroffen wurden. Es ist sehr traurig, dass Norbert die gute 

Entwicklung nicht mehr miterleben konnte und wir sie nicht 

mit ihm teilen konnten. 

Das Jahr 2010 war für uns nicht leicht – hin und hergerissen 

zwischen Verwirrung und Trauer über Krankheit und Tod 

von Norbert und Organisations- und Aufbauarbeit für 

unseren Verein, haben wir wenig zurückschauen können 

und „einfach gemacht“. Wir hatten dabei auch die 

Unterstützung früherer Vorstandsmitglieder – das hat uns 

sehr geholfen, und dafür sagen wir Danke. Noch immer sind 

nicht alle Dinge endgültig geregelt – aber wir kommen 

voran, mit kleinen Schritten, denn die Arbeit erfolgt 

ehrenamtlich. In unserer Geschäftsstelle kehrt immer mehr 

Routine ein und das wird auch gegenüber unseren 

Teilnehmern und Kooperationspartnern sichtbar. Die 

Vorstandsmitglieder arbeiten sehr gut zusammen, 

Aufgabenteilung ist kein bürokratisches Zuständigkeitsgerangel. 

Gerd-Michael Urbach hat neben der 

Stellvertretung den inhaltlichen Schwer-punkt der 

Programmarbeit übernommen. Claudia Mühlbauer ist 

Ansprechpartnerin für alle Ausbildungsthemen und vertritt 

uns in der Weiterbildungskommission des Deutschen 

Fachverbands für Psychodrama (DFP). Dagmar Holtorf 

kontrolliert die Konten, hat aber auch die Programmarbeit 

tatkräftig unterstützt. 

Was ist noch passiert? Die ersten regionalen Treffen haben 

stattgefunden – in Berlin bereits zum zweiten Mal und in 

Hamburg im Oktober das erste Mal. Im Januar 2011 folgt 

ein Treffen für den Raum Nordhessen. Damit können wir

we are very pleased to present a consolidated and 

comprehensive training-program for 2011. This time we 

have offers out of the pedagogical and therapeutical 

psychodrama as well as offers out of the sector 

organizational- and personnel-develop-ment. The program 

represents competency and a bit more diversity 

(www.psychodramainstitut.de). It also demonstrates far 

more optimism: We again have confidence in our work and 

the psychodrama itself. That makes us very happy. Many of 

us are involved and some effort has come together. The 

general meeting of our members inspired us – members are 

committed with new offers, the Board is planning and 

coordinating. But it needs organizing and arranging hands 

in order to achieve our targets – Julia Pischetsrieder does 

this job now. The training offers of 2010 have almost been 

accepted completely. The economical/financial condition 

got more stable also due to some consequence in terms of 

thriftiness and successful events/trainings/ seminars. This 

development left us being encouraged for the future. In 

doing so, also content-related decisions, which were made 

during the chairmanship of Norbert Busse-Heise, lead to a 

positive impact. It is very sad that Norbert isn’t able to 

witness this positive development anymore and that we 

can’t share it with him. 

2010 wasn’t easy for us – we were torn and moved 

ourselves between confusion and sorrow regarding Norberts 

illness as well as organizational and „construction“ work 

for our association – it was difficult to look back a little and 

so we „just did“. We were supported by former 

Boardmembers, that helped a lot and in return we say thank 

you. Things are still not completely adjusted yet, but we are 

getting there – in little steps since the work is done in an 

honorary capacity. More and more routine enters our office, 

a fact which in the meantime is also visible for our 

participants and cooperation partners. Collaboration among 

the Boardmembers is in a good working order, assigment of 

tasks is not affected by bureaucratic scrap for competencies 

and responsibilities. Gerd-Michael Urbach is in charge of 

the content related programm-issues besides his role as 

second chairman. Claudia Mühlbauer is the contact person 

for all topics around education/ training and acts for us in 

the advanced training committee of the German association 

for Psychodrama (DFP). Dagmar Holtorf is in charge of 

financial controlling aspects, but also supported the 

programm-development intensively. 

What else happened? First regional meetings took place – 

for the second time in Berlin, first time in Hamburg in 

October, followed by a meeting in the northern part of 

central Germany which is planned for January 2011. It will 

bring us closer to our target: to offer more homeland to

zu bieten, näher kommen. Es ist gut, dass wir für 

Psychodramatiker mit oder ohne fertige Ausbildung eine 

Bühne und neue Begegnungsmöglichkeiten schaffen. 

Weiterbildung für uns Imperfekte ist gefragt. Der Bedarf ist 

da. Insofern freuen wir uns sehr, dass es gelungen ist, die 

erfolgreiche Seminarreihe „Und sie bewegt sich doch“ 

wieder anzubieten. Und wir verbreitern unser regionales 

Kontaktnetz und werden in nächster Zeit auch vom 

Programmangebot her regionale Schwerpunkte setzen. 

Regional steht auch an, die Kontakte zu möglichen 

Kooperationspartnern auszubauen. Das braucht Zeit und 

weitere Klarheit, was wir mit wem beginnen können und 

wollen. Außerdem bedarf es einer zielgruppenspezifischen 

Differenzierung. Aber auch in diesem Feld kommen wir nur 

weiter, wenn wir neue Netzwerke knüpfen und daraus neue 

Erkenntnisse und Ideen hervorbringen. 

Unsere Ausbildung wird vielfältiger. Wir experimentieren 

mit verschiedenen Formen („slow open“-Gruppe und eine 

modular aufgebaute Ausbildungsgruppe). Wir werden 

möglicherweise für bestimmte Zielgruppen mit noch 

anderen Rahmenbedingungen Kompaktausbildungen 

durchführen. Hier ist viel Raum für Initiativen. Ausbildung 

ist ein wichtiges Standbein, aber unsere Arbeit kann viel 

mehr sein. Beim Regionaltreffen in Hamburg ist deutlich 

geworden, wie stark der Name Psychodrama noch lähmt, 

sich offen zum Verfahren und zur Kompetenz zu bekennen. 

Das bedeutet aber auch, dass wir mehr Mitspieler haben, als 

wir denken. Es braucht nicht viel und der Vorhang öffnet 

sich. 

Einen schönen Jahreswechsel und ein Wiedersehen im 

Frühjahr 2011wünscht Euch im Namen des Vorstandes

Psychodramatists. It’s good to create and offer a stage and 

new meeting/encounter alternatives for Psychodramatists 

with or without completed education or training. 

Educational and advanced training is in demand for us 

imperfectionists. The need for it is existing. In this respect 

we are very happy that offering the successful series „And 

however she is moving“ again worked out. We are 

extending our regional network of contacts and will set the 

regional focus in our program also in the near future. 

According to regional aspects it’s also necessary to enlarge 

contacts to potential cooperation partners. That will take 

time and needs some more clarity in terms of with whom do 

we want to start with which focus. Furthermore a specific 

differentiation of target groups is needed. Making progress 

in this sector will also require new forms of networking and 

creating new ideas out of it. 

Our education is becoming versatile, since we are also 

experimenting with different forms of training (a slow 

open-group since January for example as well as a 

modularly arranged group, which started in October). 

Potentially we will conduct compact education for specific 

target audiences – there is still a large range of initiative 

possible. Education is an important “supporting leg”, but 

our work might even be more. It became apparent during 

our regional meeting in Hamburg that the name 

Psychodrama still paralyzes in terms of committing oneself 

to the method and competency. That also means we have a 

lot more teammates than we thought. It doesn’t need much 

and the curtain opens up. 

A nice turn of the year and looking forward to seeing you

Psychodrama Section H.A.G.A.P. 

Our Psychodrama news this year (2010) were really "full of 

colors" ! 

In February, our Section actively participated by leading a 

group workshop in the 22nd Greek Psychiatrıc Trainees 

Conference in Volos where more than 30 young psychiatrists-participants 

get in contact with the beaty of the Psychodrama 

world! 

In April, two members of our Sectıon went as guest members 

to the FEPTO Conference in Serbia. Creative presence! 

They are also members of the "intimacy group" and 

the "matrix group". The same month, a pre-training seminar 

started by the participation of 15 very creative future trainees. 

In May, two members of our Sectıon led two very interesting 

workshops in the 2nd Greek Psychiatric and Art Con-

ference. We had also a stand where we let alot of new psychodrama 

lovers to know what is psychodrama like by a 

very fruitful daily open dialogue. In June, the A Level completed 

succesfully its schedule by Julia Hardy and Georgios 

Chaniotis as trainers. Eight very creative trainees procceed 

to the B level. In August, 20 members of our Psychodrama 

Section participated in the International Psychodrama Conference, 

organised by the Institute in Cologneş and a member 

lead a very interesting workshop. In October,10 members 

of our Sectıon participated in the very interesting National 

Rumanian Conference in Cluj and a member of us 

lead a very creative workshop with 45 participants. 

Unfortunatelly, there was a very serious conflict in the 

training cooperation between PIfE and HAGAP. After a 

conflıct between the members of the B level group and a 

high position member of the PIfE Board - trainer. Then the 

group asked from the PIfE Board as soon as possible a new 

trainer, in order to complete their B level studies. The answer 

was, instead of naming a new trainer, to have a frozen 

training process by the board of PIfE with no open dialogue 

for that and illegally to go against the contract of cooperation. 

Since then, there was a continuously e-mailing process, in 

order to avoid the judicial way due to plenty of movements 

of PIfE that they were out of our common training contract. 

Even if the training process was frozen by the PIfE Board 

the individual and group supervision classes were done by 

the PIfE supervisors Mrs. Ildikó Maevers and Mrs. Julia 

Hardy, whom we thank alot! 

As for the PIfE conference of 2011 in Porto Heli (21-25 

September 2011) we would lıke to announce you that the 

delay till now, was as you realized due to the above frozen 

attitude of the PIfE Board, which froze the conference organisıng 

process, too. By the beginning of November 2010 

everything will be out and all of you will be informed about 

this so creative coming event! We are lookıng forward to 

having a nice psychodramatic time together! 

We do hope that our cooperatıon wıth PIfE wıll be ın a 

better way.

2010 m. birželio mėn. Institutas organizavo pirmąjį seminarą 

„Sociometrija“, kurį vedė psichodramos specialistai 

Bernd Fichtenhofer ir Monica Scibak . 2010 metų rudenį 

kartu Gelbėk vaikus organizacija Institutas organizavo ir 

vedė mokymus apie pozityviąją tėvystę. Mokymai buvo 

skirti ne tik tėvams, bet ir mokytojams. 

2011 metais planuojame pratęsti organizuoti mokymus apie 

psichodramos metodus. Balandžio 1-3 dienomis planuojamas 

seminaras „Apšilimas“, kurį taip pat ves psichodramos 

specialistai Bernd Fichtenhofer ir Monica Scibak. 

Už pagalbą organizuojant šiuos seminarus su užsienio 

svečiais esame dėkingi PIFE, kurie skyrė paramą. 2011 

metais taip pat planuojame organizuoti psichodramos terapines 

grupes bei mokymus pozityvios tėvystės, konfliktų 

sprendimų temomis ir kt.

In 2010 june was organized first workshop „Sociometria” 

together with Bernd Fichtenhofer and Monica Scibak as 

leaders. In autumn together with Save the Children Lithuania 

we organized trainings about positive parenting for the 

teachers and parents in various schools. 

In 2011 we plan to continue our cooperation with Bernd 

Fichtenhofer and Monica Scibak – with workshop „Warm – 

up“. 

We are indebted to PIFE for financial support organizing 

these trainings. 

In our plans also are psychodrama therapy groups for adults 

and various workshops about positive parenting, conflict 

solving and other issue.

Tarptautinė Praktinė Psichodramos Konferencija 

6-Osios Baltijos Moreno Dienos „Sugrįžk Ir Atrask“

Konferencija Baltijos Moreno dienos gimė 2000 metais ir 

pirmąkart įvyko Estijoje, Piarnu mieste. Šių dienų idėja – 

susirinkti visiems, kurie domisi ir vertina psichodramą, 

dalintis idėjomis, darbais ir žiniomis. Moreno dienos 

keliauja po tris Baltijos šalis: Latviją, Estiją ir Lietuvą. 

Lietuvoje Baltijos Moreno dienos vyksta antrą kartą. 3 – 

iosios Moreno dienos “Pabudimas” įvyko Klaipėdoje 2004 

metais. Šių metų konferencijos temą padiktavo suvokimas, 

kad, norint save geriau pažinti ar net atrasti naujai, kartais 

reikia sugrįžti prie to, kas jau buvo. Dėl šios priežasties 

konferencijos vieta mes vėl pasirinkome Klaipėdą. Tuos, 

kurie dalyvavo trečiose Baltijos Moreno dienose, kvietėme 

sugrįžti ne tik į Lietuvą, bet ir į Klaipėdą. Džiaugiamės, kad 

2010 metais rugpjūčio 20-22 dienomis įvykusi konferencija 

“6-osios Baltijos Moreno dienos” rado darbo ir 

pasilinksminimo erdves Klaipėdos senamiestyje. 

Konferencijoje dalyvavo 75 dalyviai iš 13 šalių: Lietuvos, 

Latvijos, Estijos, Švedijos, Suomijos, Vokietijos, Belgijos, 

Italijos, Turkijos, Austrijos, Danijos, Jungtinės karalystės, 

Prancūzijos. Konferencijos metu praktinius seminarus vedė 

16 lektorių iš 13 šalių. Konferenciją pasveikino PifE 

atstovas “, Dr. Christoph Hutter (Germany), kuris prieš 

konferenciją vedė teorinį seminarą I ir II lygio studentams, 

studijuojantiems psichodramą Lietuvoje.

2010 has been a good year for The Lithuanian Psichodrama 

Association. 

The 6th Baltic Moreno Days “Return & Discover” 

International Practical Psychodrama Conference

The Baltic Moreno Days as a conference was founded in 

the year 2000 and was held in Piarnu city in Estonia. The 

idea of the conference is to gather people who are interested 

in psychodrama, to share the ideas, achievements and 

knowledge.Moreno days travel through three baltic states: 

Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. 

Lithuania has held the Baltic Moreno days for the second 

time. The third conference „Awakenings“ took place in 

Klaipeda in 2004. The topic of this year conference was 

found according to the wish : ”to get to know yourself better 

you should face the past”. For this reason we came back 

to Klaipeda again. We are glad that the 6th Moreno Days on 

August 20-22, 2010 has found place for work and entertainment 

in the old city of Klaipeda. 

There were 75 participants from 13 countries: Lithuania, 

Latvia, Estonia, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Belgium, Italy, 

Austria, Turkey, Denmark, United Kingdom, France. 16 

workshops were held by lecturers from 13 countries. Dr. 

Christoph Hutter (Germany) from PIfE opened the conference 

leading the preconference workshop for the first and 

second level students of Lithuanian psychodrama.

The Moreno days have the nice tradition to organize a preconference 

in order to present the different styles of leading 

psychodrama. This year we welcomed Chantal Nève Hanquet 

(Belgium) and Wilma Scategni (Italy). There were 12 

participants from Denmark, Sweden, the United Kingdom 

and Lithuania We are very thankful for our sponsors and 

supporters: Všį “Gebu” and “European Leadership Institute”. 

Mokymai 

I lygio mokymai jau įpusėjo, juose dalyvauja 11 žmonių, 

mokymus veda dr.A. Kepalaitė ir R.Pietarienė. Dauguma 

studijuojančių I lygyje psichologai ir gydytojai, kurie 

aktyviai dalyvauja specialiuose seminaruose bei 

konferencijose. 

II lygio mokymai sėkmingai eina į pabaigą. Juose baigia 

studijas 9 būsimi psichodramos vadovai, terapeutai, kuriems 

vadovauja Doris Immich (Germany).Š.m. spalio 3 – 10 d. 

visa II lygio grupė viešėjo pas Doris Vokietijoje, 

Reinhardshagene, kur turėjo paskutinį 10 užsiėmimą ir kur 

kiekvienas gavo Doris įvertinimą už dalyvavimą tęstinėje 

grupėje. Grupines supervizijas veda Goda Gyula (Hungary), 

individualias supervizijas – Inara Erdmanis (Sweden). 

Visi grupes dalyviai aktyviai dalyvauja specialiuosiuose ir

The first level studies are the middle part of the training. 

There are 11 students who are trained by Dr. Albina 

Kepalaite and Rasa Pietariene. Most of them are psychologists 

and physicians, they are all actively participating in 

special seminars and conferences. 

The second level studies are successfully coming to an end. 

9 psychodrama leaders are finishing their studies with their 

teacher Doris Immich (Germany). The group has visited 

Doris in Reinhardshagen, Germany in October 2010 where 

they had the last 10th session and everybody was evaluated. 

Group supervisions are being held by Goda Gyula (Hungary), 

individual – Inara Erdmanis (Sweden). This group is 

participating in different special and theoretical seminars, 

gathering and leading their own self-experience groups. 

They plan to finish their studies by spring 2011.

Norsk MorenoInstituttet 2010 

Et hektisk år er over for vårt nye Moreno Institutt. Det har 

vært et virkelig spennende år for både instituttet og mange 

av våre psykodramatikere. Mye nytt har funnet form i løpet 

av dette året og vi har i en lengre periode jobbet med en 

moderniseringsprosess på instituttet. Tiden er nå kommet til 

å sette den ut i live. 

Den viktigste forandringen vi nå gjør er å endre navnet vårt 

og logoen vår. Norsk Psykodrama Institutt endrer sitt navn 

til MorenoInstituttet og logoen er ny. I kjølvannet av dette 

blir det nye og mer funksjonelle hjemmesider både for studenter 

og interesserte. MorenoInstituttet har endret profil og 

prøver å møte samfunnet og behovene for psykodrama der 

hvor de er, på en ny og mere hensiktsmessig måte. Det er 

ikke lenger slik at vi kun utdanner psykodramaterapeuter.

denne viten på alvor og ta skrittet fullt ut ved å møte andre 

områder i samfunnet hvor psykodrama trengs og vil være et 

nyttig verktøy. 

Derfor velger vi også å endre navnet vårt fra psykodrama til 

Moreno. Vi ønsker å formidle Morenos filosofi og metode 

på mange områder, ikke kun som en psykodramatrisk metode 

som ofte blir sett på som den terapeutiske metoden. 

MorenoInstituttet underviser nå i Morenos filosofi og metode 

hvor psykodrama og sosiomtri er hoveddelen i terapeut 

utdannelsen. 

I programmet vi allerede har skapt for næringslivet (prosessorientert 

gruppeledelse) brukes filosofien og deler av metoden 

og slik vil det også bli i vår nye utdannelse, som vi har 

valgt å kalle ”Ungdomslederutdanning”. Dette er en ny

Norwegian Moreno Institute 2010 

A hectic year is over for our new Moreno Institute. It has 

been a very exciting year both for the institute and many of 

our psychodramatists. Many changes have taken place during 

the year and we have over a longer period of time, 

worked with a modernisation process of the institute. The 

time has now come to put the process to live. 

The most important change is that we have changed our 

name and our logo. The Norwegian Psychodrama Institute 

changes its name to The Moreno Institute Norway and our 

logo is also new. As a result of the modernisation we are 

getting new and more functional webpages for our students. 

The Moreno Institute has changed its profile and tries to 

meet society and the need of psychodrama where they are, 

in a new and more adequate form. We do not longer only 

train psychodrama therapists. We are now taking the steps 

and meet other areas in society where psychodrama is 

needed and can be a very useful tool. 

That is why we choose to change our name from Psychodrama 

to Moreno. We wish to spread Morenos philosophy 

and method in many different areas not only as a therapeutic 

method. We now teach i Morenian philosophy and 

method where psychodrama and sociometry are the main 

parts in the therapist education. 

In our program for business we use the philosophy and 

parts of the methods. Sociometry has a strong impact in this 

program as well as in our new program for ”youth leaders”. 

This is a program we are very proud of offering this year. 

Arne Husjord takes all his competence and experience from 

being in the national ”Hooligan project” for many years, 

and brings it in the program that he will be responsibel for.

Helt fantastisk er det også at vi som et av de første psykodrama 

institutter i Europa har gått igjennom nåløyet i European 

Association of Psychotherapy og blitt godkjent som et 

”EAPTI” institutt. Kort fortalt betyr det nå at vi kan sertifisere 

våre studenter som europeisk godkjente psykoterapeuter 

og tildele dem European Certificate of Psychotherapy. 

Dette er en sterk internasjonal anerkjennelse av instituttet 

vårt og av våre studenter, både av EAP og av FEPTO (Federation 

of European Psychodrama Training Organisations). 

Det er store prosesser og mye arbeid å modernisere et institutt 

som feirer sine 25 år til neste år. Men vi har stor tro på 

det vi gjør og selv om student massen i dag er stabil, håper 

og tror vi at den vil øke i løpet av 2011. Pr. i dag har vi 2 

grunnutdanninger, 2 lederutdanninger, en regissørutdanning 

i psykodrama og en TEP student. I tillegg har vi en 

prosesslederutdanning for ledere i næringslivet. En ny grunnutdanning, 

en ny lederutdanning og vår nye ungdomslederutdanning 

starter opp i løpet av året. 

Som institutt er vi svært opptatt av det internasjonale samarbeidet. 

Dette har vi gjort både gjennom Pife, Fepto og Nordic 

Board of Examiners, og med individuelle institutter i 

Europa. Dette ønsker vi å videreføre i 2011. 

30. september til 2. oktober feirer vi vårt 25 års jubileum i 

Oslo. Konferansens tittel er ”Morenos metoder – verktøy i 

framtidens samfunn”. Vi ønsker å vise hvordan Morenos 

teknikker blir benyttet i praktiske situasjoner i organisasjons- 

og arbeidsliv, og utforske hva som kan ligge av muligheter 

for videre utvikling og utnyttelse i fremtiden. Vi håper 

mange av dere vil finne veien til Oslo for å feire sammen 

med oss. 

It is absolutely fantastic for us to be one of the first psychodrama 

institutes in Europe to be acknowledged as an 

EAPTI institute from EAP (European Association of Psychotherapy). 

Shortly this means that we now can certify 

our students as European psychotherapists and give them 

European Certificate of Psychotherapy. This is a strong 

international ackowledgment of the institute and our students 

from both EAP and FEPTO (Federation of European 

Psychodrama Training Organisations) 

Modernising an institute is a big process and loads of work, 

but we believe in what we do and we hope the numbers of 

students will increase during the year. As of today we have 

two psychodrama- assistent levels, two psychodramaleader 

levels, one psychodrama director level and one TEP student. 

Then we have one processleader eduacation for business 

leaders. One new psychodrama-assistent and one psychodramaleader 

education will start during the year and of 

course our new ”Youth leader” education will start as well. 

As an institute we strongly support the international cooperation. 

We have done that through Pife, Fepto and the 

Nordic Board of Examiners, as well as with individual 

institutes throughout Europe. We wish to continue to emphasize 

these relations in the coming year. 

Our 25th. anniversary will be celebrated in Oslo from september 

30th. through october 2nd. The title of the conference 

will be: ”Morenos methods – tools in the future society” 

We wish to show how Morenos techniques are used in 

practical situations organisations and at work, and explore 

possibilities development and use in the future. We hope 

many of you will find the way to Oslo to celebrate with us.

Polish Psychodrama Institute 2009/2010

1. For the first time the big group of Polish psychodramatists 

took part in the PifE Conference in Vilnius 

September 2009 (about 30 persons). 

2. Two training groups for the basic level are finished: 

one, led by Anna Bielanska and Piotr Passowicz as 

the co-trainer, and second led by Jaroslaw Gliszczynski 

and Monika Scibak as co-trainer. 

3. One Upper Level group led by Sonia Beloch also 

finished their course, their colloqium is planned in 

December 2011. 

4. The psychodrama activity has a new host in Poland – 

Lublin. We have now two new groups on the basic 

level there. One is led by Sonia Beloch and Krystyna 

Kozlowska, another one by Jaroslaw Gliszczynski and 

Teresa Molenda.

5. We have started with new ideas and meetings which 

we call Moreno Nights – every two months we meet 

in Cracow and for example watch a movie with Zerka 

Moreno, discuss it, etc... 

6. We celebrated the 10 years Anniversary of the Polish 

Psychodrama Institute in autum 2009 in the small village 

USTRON. It was a wonderful Mask Ball with 

our honourable Guests – Sonia Beloch, Helmut Beloch 

and Horatiu Albini. 

7. During the last two years we were involved in the 

Gruntvig grant of the European Union – “Psychodrama 

on the educational Stage”. This grant was run 

by the “Grodzki Theatre” from Bielsko-Biala in Poland. 

There were four partners: Poland, Romania, Portugal 

and Cyprus. The final seminar took place in 

Cracow in June 2010. It was a very fruitful meeting! I 

hope that the book which was written by Maria Schejbal 

could describe precisely all activities in those four 

countries.

Projekt POTENS był poświęcony możliwościom 

wykorzystania psychodramy, socjodramy i dramaterapii w 

edukacji dorosłych. Główny cel przedsięwzięcia stanowiło 

opracowanie metod i technik, które mogą być pomocne w 

pracy nauczyciela i trenera, zwłaszcza w kontakcie z 

grupami zagrożonymi społecznym wykluczeniem. Osoby 

pracujące między innymi z niepełnosprawnym, 

uzależnionymi, a także z mniejszościami etnicznymi wzięły 

udział w pilotażowych warsztatach prowadzonych przez 

terapeutów i edukatorów w czterech krajach partnerskich 

(styczeń-grudzień 2009). Proces warsztatowy był 

dokumentowany w formie opisowej, zdjęciowej i filmowej. 

Najciekawsze dobre praktyki zostały przedstawione w 

trzech publikacjach projektu: „Wytyczne do stosowania 

psychodramy w edukacji dorosłych” (dokument w języku 

angielskim dostępny na stronie internetowej projektu), „W 

poszukiwaniu kreatywności” (książka wydana w języku 

polskim, angielskim, rumuńskim, greckim i portugalskim, 

dostępna także w wersji elektronicznej na stronie 

internetowej projektu) oraz „Psychodrama na edukacyjnej 

scenie” (film dokumentalny z podtytułami w języku 

angielskim i polskim). 

Promocja publikacji miała miejsce podczas Seminarium 

Grundtviga zorganizowanego w Krakowie w czerwcu 2010.

The POTENS project was a pilot initiative exploring the 

interface of psychodrama, sociodrama, drama therapy and 

adult education. The main goal of the project was to work 

out a set of training techniques to support and improve 

teaching/learning processes, especially to empower adult 

students from marginalized social contexts. 

The project objectives meet the special needs of adult educators 

working with vulnerable social groups in AE centres, 

second chance or remedial education providers, organisations 

working with migrants and ethnic minorities, centres 

for guidance and counselling, experts in the field of adult 

education. The representatives of such groups took part in 

pilot workshops in each partner country: Poland, Romania, 

Portugal and Cyprus, from January to December 2009. The 

best practices were documented and are available in the 

form of three publications, presenting the most important 

methodological findings and a set of practical methods, 

techniques and workshop scenarios to be implemented by 

external users: “Guidelines on psychodrama use in adult 

education”, a paper-based handbook titled “The search for 

creativity” edited in five languages (EN, PL, PT, EL, RO) 

and a documentary film “Psychodrama on the educational 

stage” with English and Polish subtitles. The book and the 

film are complementary to each other. The European launch 

of the publications took place in June 2010 in Cracow during 

the main project event – Grundtvig Seminar “Bridging

Deşi raportul se referă la 2010 trebuie să privesc în urma cu 

doi ani, căci de atunci nu am mai prezentat noutăţi despre 

asociaţie în Newsletter-ul PIfE. Lumea este în criză. Socială 

şi economică, ceea ce de multe ori duce şi la criza morală. 

Este o utopie să sperăm că ceea ce se petrece la nivel social 

nu se rasfrânge şi în sfera organizaţională. Şi cu toate 

acestea, suntem într-o situaţie specială, în care asociaţia 

continuă să se dezvolte, prin munca celor ce consideră 

psihodrama ca a doua lor scenă, dacă nu de multe ori chiar 

prima. 

Începeam un alt moment de bilanţ, scris in preajma 

Crăciunului, cu: when you wish upon a star, makes no 

difference who you are, if you heart is in a dream, no 

request is too extreme… 

Început în urma cu doi ani, proiectul UE Grundtvig 

POTENS Psihodrama pe scena educaţională a ajuns la 

etapa finală. SPJLM a participat alături de asociaţii din 

Polonia, Portugalia şi Cipru, fiind partenerul care a 

coordonat elaborarea metodologiei de aplicare a 

psihodramei în educarea adulţilor vulnerabili. Este primul 

proiect internaţional al SPJLM, care totodată a pus bazele 

deschiderii liniei educaţionale a formării în psihodramă în 

cadrul asociaţiei. Sorina Bumbuluţ, Roth Maria, Horaţiu

Report for PIfE Newsletter, January 2011 

Although the report should cover the 2010 activity, I will 

look a little further and refer to the last two years, as since 

2009 we did not sent news about our association for the 

PIfE Newsletter. The world is in crises. A social and economical 

one. It is utopic to think that the organizational 

stage will be avoided. Nevertheless we are in a special 

position. Our association is still growing, with and through 

the work of those who consider psychodrama their second 

choice in life, if not the first one. 

I was beginning another report, written around Christmas, 

with the words: when you wish upon a star, makes no difference 

who you are, if you heart is in a dream, no request 

is too extreme… 

Started two years ago, the UE Grundtvig POTENS project 

Psychodrama on the educational stage reached the final 

point. SPJLM was involved together with associations from 

Poland, Portugal and Cyprus being the coordinator partner 

who prepared and elaborated the methodological guidelines 

for applying psychodrama in the education of adults with 

special needs. It is the fist international project 

accomplished within our association, which opened the path 

towards an educational approach in the psychodrama 

training methods used in SPJLM. Sorina Bumbuluţ, Roth 

Maria, Horaţiu Albini and Szigeti Júlia worked under the

Asociaţia Lituaniană de Psihodramă un seminar pe această

Psihodrama: continuă formarea în etapa de bază, unde sunt 

active 12 grupe, şi în etapa superioară unde sunt active 4 

grupe şi în pregatire încă două. 

Bibliodrama: primul colocviu a avut loc în februarie 2009. 

Un al doilea grup a început în septembrie 2010. Acesta este 

condus de Sarkady Kamilla şi Nyáry Péter, 

bibliodramaticieni din Ungaria, necesar pentru pregatirea 

colideratului primei generaţii de bibliodramaticieni din 

România. 

Supervizia asociaţiei este asigurată la toate nivelele. 

Psihodramaticienii în etapa superioară, la fel ca şi 

supervizorii societăţii, sunt pregătiţi de către Bernd 

Fichtenhofer. Formatorii sunt supervizaţi de Eva Fahlström 

Borg, iar asociaţia este supervizată la nivel organizaţional de 

Carl Otto Velmerig şi Gerd Schüning. 

În octombrie 2010 a fost organizat al patrulea colocviu final 

de psihodramă, la care au participat 9 colegi, lucrarile fiind 

scrise în limba română şi maghiară. Colocviul a fost deschis, 

fiind invitaţi la acest moment festiv colegii formatori şi 

supervizorii cursanţilor, calitatea deosebită a prezentărilor 

fiind remarcată de membrii comisiei, printre care şi de către 

reprezentantul PIfE, Hilde Gött. 

Cea de a III-a Conferinţă Naţională de Psihodramă a fost 

organizată la Cluj, în octombrie 2010: Acţiune şi Pasiune. 

Am plecat de la izvoare, parcurgând drumul de la conflicte 

la întâlnire, ştergând graniţele efemere dintre noi şi ei, 

împartăşind pasiunea şi acţiunea noastra, în dans de 

flamenco, în bob de grâu, în sărut de piatra şi în mori de 

vânt, și fiind însoţiți de Grete Leutz, Hanna Kende, Marcia 

Karp, Eva Fahlström Borg, Jutta Fürst, Hilde Gött, cât şi de 

mulţi alţii, cei nenumiţi, care au adăugat nu numai acţiunea 

şi pasiunea lor, dar au adus din nou pe scenă acel encounter 

care a creat miracolul lui tueu. Deschisă de către studenţii de 

la actorie ai Facultăţii de Teatru şi Regie, cu un spectacol 

regizat de Bács Miklós, în care Regele Lear s-a întâlnit cu 

Moreno şi încheiată de colegele noastre, psihodramaticiene 

absolvente ale colocviului, care s-au aflat pentru prima oară 

în acest rol pe scenă. Un eveniment naţional cu un ecou 

internaţional.

Horaţiu at the PIfE Vilnius International conference, and in 

cooperation with the Lithuanian Association of 

Psychodrama a seminar will be scheduled for the fall of 

2011. 

Psychodrama: the training continues for the basic level, 

where 12 groups are active, and for the superior one, where 

4 groups are active and two are under preparation. 

Bibliodrama: the first final colloquy was held in February 

2009. A second training group started in Hungarian, in 

September 2010. Led by Sarkady Kamilla and Nyáry Péter, 

(Hungary), this will be the basis for preparing the coleadership 

of the first generation of bibliodrama trainers 

from Romania. 

Supervision is provided at all levels. The students of the 

second level and the supervisors are led by Bernd 

Fichtenhofer (PIfE). The trainers and psychotherapists are 

supervised by Eva Fahlström Borg (Sweden) and the 

organizational supervision of the association is led by Carl 

Otto Velmerig and Gerd Schüning (DAGG, Germany). 

The forth final psychodrama colloquy was organized in 

October 2010, and nine of our colleagues presented their 

work, thesis being written in Romanian and Hungarian. The 

colloquy was an open one, trainers and supervisors of the 

association being invited to be guests in this special 

moment of our society. The excellent quality of the thesis 

and presentation was emphasized by the members of the 

examining board, among them the PIfE representative, 

Hilde Gött. 

Following the final colloquy, the 3rd. National 

Psychodrama Conference, Action and Passion, took place 

in Cluj. We have started three years ago from springs, from 

conflicts arriving face to face, wiping the evanescent border 

between us and them; sharing our common passion and 

action in the germinating wheat grain, in the fire consuming 

the flamenco dancers, in Brancusi’s stone kiss, in 

Cervantes’s windmills; with Grete Leutz, Hanna Kende, 

Marcia Karp, Eva Fahlström Borg, Jutta Fürst, Hilde Gött, 

and so many others, the “nameless” ones, who added their 

passion and action to ours, bringing again on the stage the 

encounter who made the youme miracle possible. Opened 

by the Faculty of Theatre and Television students, who 

prepared a workshop directed by Bács Miklós, where King 

Lear met Moreno, and ended by our new colleagues, who 

have just graduated three days before the colloquy, being 

for the first time on the stage on the leading role of a 

psychodramatist. A national event with an international 

echo.

ocazia unui week-end terapeutic la Covasna, un atelier de 

lucru psihodramatic condus de Emőke Bagdi şi Ildikó 

Erdélyi. De atunci organizaţia a crescut, făcând faţă în anul 

care a trecut crizei, pregătindu-se în acest început de 

februarie de noi alegeri, de un nou început.

occasion of a seminar led by Emőke Bagdi and Ildikó Erdélyi. 

Since then, the organization continues to grow, facing 

in 2010 the crises, preparing itself for 2011, for new elections, 

for a new council, for a new beginning.

I. О большой группе 

В середине февраля прошлого года состоялось важное 

событие для нашей Ассоциации Психодрамы – семинар 

по групповой динамике в большой группе. Этот 

семинар состоялся благодаря организационной и 

финансовой поддержке ПИФЕ. Большая 

организационная работа была проведена и в нашей 

Ассоциации. 

Для проведения этого семинара руководство ПИФЕ 

пригласило известных тренеров Немецкой Ассоциации

Main Events of 2010 in Association of 

Psychodrama

I. About the Large Group 

In the middle of last year’s February an important event for 

our Association of Psychodrama – the large group seminar 

on group dynamics – took place. This seminar was carried 

out due to the organizational and financial support by PIfE. 

A large organizational work was also carried out in our 

Association.

тренером была председатель PIfE Хильда Гётт (Hilde 

Gött). 

Присутствовали почти все члены Ассоциации 

Психодрамы - 66 человек. Они составили пять групп: 

группа украинских тренеров; группа обучения второго 

уровня (тренер Ильдико Маверс); три группы обучения 

первого уровня (две группы тренеров Татьяны 

Зайцевской и Павла Горностая и одна группа тренеров 

Людмилы Литвиненко и Юлии Будаи). Для одной из 

групп первого уровня этот семинар был последним 

перед сертификацией. 

Семинар длился четыре дня. Группы и участники 

знакомились друг с другом, получали 

непосредственный эмоциональный опыт переживания 

своего взаимодействия с группой и другими группами, 

проводили социометрию ролей в группе и проявляли 

свои чувства по этому поводу, интерактивно 

исследовали внутригрупповые процессы, слушали 

короткие лекции Карла Отто Фелмерига.

Впечатления сильные. И разные. Если бы я не приехала, 

я даже бы не знала, ЧТО я пропустила! Сначала был 

страх. Всех так много. Каждая группа держится 

вызывающе и особняком. Как же непросто будет 

работать в таком огромном коллективе! Я чувствовала 

себя зажато и не совсем комфортно. 

Уже первое задание в первый день вызвало чувство 

соперничества на уровне групп и сплоченности внутри 

группы. Девизом первого дня я бы выбрала лозунг 

"Один за всех, и все за одного!" 

Самым тяжелым был второй день. В группе пошли 

трения, спровоцированные групповой игрой . Борьба 

за лидерство. Мне было не совсем понятно, почему 

умные люди не могут договориться. Я увидела 

нежелание и неумение многих участников нашей 

группы идти на компромисс. 

А потом этот же процесс был продемонстрирован 

другими группами. Оказывается, эта «болезнь» не 

только в нашей группе! 

На третий день с нашей группой работала Хильда Гетт. 

Она мастерски спровоцировала конфликт между 

подгруппами. Мне понравилась ее работа, ее 

высказывания. Четкость и краткость. 

Много всего в группе было сказано друг другу впервые 

- не жалея нервы, не притворяясь. И от этого никто не 

умер! Это тоже было открытием. 

Velmerig, Dr.. Monica Maassen, supervisor and trainer 

Gerd Schüning were invited by PIfE board. Chairwomen of 

the PIfE Hilde Goett were present as the fourth trainer. 

Almost all the members of Psychodrama Association – 66 

people – were present. They formed five groups: group of 

Ukrainian trainers; second level training group (trainer 

Ildiko Maevers); three first level training groups (two 

groups trained by Tetiana Zaitsevska and Pavlo Gornostay 

and one group trained by Ludmila Litvinenko and Julia 

Budai). For one of the first level groups this seminar was 

the last one before the certification. 

Seminar lasted for the four days. Groups and participants 

were getting acquainted with each other, obtained the direct 

emotional experience of enduring their interaction with the 

group and with the other groups. They conducted the sociometry 

of roles in group and expressed their feelings on 

this issue, interactively studied internal group processes, 

attended the short lectures delivered by Carl Otto Velmerig. 

Personal Notes on the Large Group:

Strong impressions. And different ones. If I’d not arrive I’d 

never imagine WHAT I’d lost! 

First were the fear. There is so many of all of them. Each 

group behaves challenging and isolated. It won’t be a simple 

thing to work in such a large team! I felt myself being 

oppressed and uncomfortable. Even the first task on day 

first caused a feeling of competition on the group level and 

joining together within the group. The slogan of the first 

day I’d choose to be as: “One stands for all, and all stand 

for one”. 

The second day was the hardest one. Inside the group the 

frictions started, provoked by the group game. The struggle 

for leadership. It was unclear for me, why the clever people 

are unable to reach an agreement. I observed the lack of 

ability and motivation of many participants of our group to 

reach a compromise. 

And later the same process was demonstrated by other 

groups also. This “disease” appears to be inherent not only 

to our group! 

On day three Hilde Goett worked with our group. She professionally 

provoked a conflict between the sub-groups. I 

liked her work, her sentences. Clarity and laconism. There 

were a lot of things in the group told each other for the first 

time – with no mercy to nerves and never playing roles. 

And nobody died from this! It was also a discovery. 

For all the four days it was interesting and experiencing. 

The members of groups have on their own managed their 

internal processes. The training as a whole brought a group 

closer together and demonstrated the skills of German 

trainers.

Все четыре дня было интересно и поучительно. Члены 

группы справились самостоятельно со своими 

внутренними процессами. Тренинг в целом только 

сплотил группу и показал мастерство немецких 

тренеров.

Большая группа мне очень понравилась, очень плавно и 

динамично. Особенно мне понравилась работа Хильде 

Гётт у нас в группе. Она быстро и профессионально 

выявила личные проблемы, которые еще были не 

решены у участников нашей группы. А, в общем, 

возникло желание больше почитать о групповой 

динамике.

мы все развиваемся по одним законам. В своей группе 

удалось укрепить контакты и узнать лучше друг друга. 

Не удалось сблизиться с другими группами. 

В целом отличная работа. Прочувствовала себя частью 

целого, осознала свою индивидуальную особенность 

участия в разных группах. Узнала себя с новой стороны.

The skills of trainers were impressive. It fortuned to feel a 

dynamics both in own group and in the other groups as

Each group has it’s own life, and it’s different. But in general 

we all are developing according to the same laws. In 

the own group it fortuned to strengthen the contacts and to 

know each other better. Getting closer to other groups has 

failed. 

In general it was an excellent work. I’ve felt myself a part 

of a whole, realized my own individual features when taking 

part in different groups. I’ve got knowledge of myself 

from a different side.

Я рада встрече с высококвалифицированными 

тренерами, увидела их работу – как из разрозненных 

отдельных групп формируется общее пространство для 

действия. Я еще не раз буду возвращаться к своим 

записям, сделанным на семинаре. 

Я лично прочувствовала, как происходит непростой 

процесс взаимодействия внутри группы при 

выполнении единого задания. Для меня важным было 

обсуждение групповых процессов интеграции, 

дезинтеграции и дифференциации. 

По моему мнению, на большой группе был запущен 

процесс интеграции в нашей организации, были 

сделаны первые шаги в этом направлении. Считаю, что 

такие семинары в организации полезно проводить 

регулярно, так как они открывают новые перспективы 

для развития. 

II. Выпуск первой украинской группы 

психодрама практиков 

В 29 мая 2010 года состоялся торжественный выпуск 

первой группы психодрама практиков. Это первая 

группа, которая проходила под руководством 

украинских психодрама терапевтов: тренера Татьяны 

Зайцевской и ко-тренера Павла Горностая с супервизией 

Ильдико Маверс. Группа стартовала в мае 2006 года и 

начала работу по старым стандартам PIfE. С появлением 

новых стандартов PIfE -2007 группа приняла решение 

скорректировать свое обучение согласно новым 

стандартам на квалификационный уровень «психодрама 

практик». 

Двенадцать человек выполнили все требования 

программы обучения и председатель PIfE Хильда Гётт 

вручила им квалификационные сертификаты 

«психодрама практик». 

Выпускников поздравляли президент Ассоциации 

психодрамы Валентина Станишевская и член 

правления, ответственная за проекты обучения 

Людмила Литвиненеко.

Мои впечатления и что дала мне психодрама: 

1. Конечно - новые знания и умения! Я хорошо 

изучила метод психодрамы и чувствую, когда 

выгодно и полезно в работе с клиентами применять 

элементы психодрамы. 

2. Я решила очень много личных проблем. Я даже не 

подозревала, что у меня их было так много. Все это 

стало возможным благодаря учебе в 

психодраматической группе. 

3. До занятий в психодраматической группе я не 

занималась психологическим консультированием. 

Сейчас я это начала делать и мне это нравится. Хотя

I personally have felt how is the complicated process of 

interaction inside the group when completing the common 

task. For me the discussion of group processes of integration, 

disintegration and differentiation was important. 

To my opinion, the large group has triggered a process of 

integration in our organization; the first steps in this direction 

have been made. I consider that such a seminars in the 

organization should be conducted regularly, because they 

open new prospects for development. 

II. 

First Ukrainian group of Psychodrama Practitioners 

has graduated 

On May, 29, 2010 the celebrative graduation of the first 

group of psychodrama practitioners took place. It was the 

first group that was trained under the leadership of Ukrainian 

psychodrama therapists: trainer Tetiana Zaitsevska and 

co-trainer Pavlo Gornostay with the supervision of Ildiko 

Maevers. The group was launched in May, 2006 and started 

it’s work according to old PIfE standards. With the appearance 

of new PIfE-2007 standards the group decided to adjust 

their education according to the new standards to reach 

the qualification level “Psychodrama Practitioner” 

Twelve people have fulfilled all the requirements of training 

program, and PIfE President Hilde Gott handled them 

the “Psychodrama Practitioner” qualification certificates. 

The graduates were congratulated by President of Association 

of Psychodrama Valentina Stanishevska, and by the 

board member in charge of teaching projects, Liudmyla 

Lytvynenko. 

Personal responses on the training: 

Nadiya Tarasyuk 

My impressions and what the psychodrama gave to me: 

1. Certainly – new knowledge and skills. I studied well the 

psychodrama method and I feel when it’s profitable to 

use the psychodrama elements in the work with clients. 

2. I’ve solved a lot of personal problems. I’ve even not 

suspected that I have such a bundle of them. All this 

became possible due to studying in the psychodrama 

group. 

3. Prior to studying in psychodrama group I didn’t go for a 

psychological counseling. Now I started doing it and I 

like it. Although, there is a lot to be studied. But the 

start was just from here, from the group. 

4. I use the psychodrama method and the knowledge acquired 

in my work – building up a networking business. 

I frequently conduct trainings for the members of my 

organization. All the exercises we’ve had during the 

sessions are very useful, so I recollect each one and use.

4. Я использую метод психодрамы и приобретенные 

знания в своей работе - в построении сетевого 

бизнеса. Часто провожу тренинги для членов моей 

организации. Очень пригодились все разминки,

и использую. 

5. Есть несколько методик, которые я использую для 

себя лично, когда чувствую, что в моей жизни чтото 

не так... Я научилась помогать сама себе! 

6. Я научилась видеть и слышать проблемы своих 

детей и помогать им. 

7. Я приобрела друзей учителей и наставников - 

членов моей группы и Татьяну с Павлом. 

За это всем им очень благодарна! И всех вас люблю!

Курс окончен, и я определяю его ценность для меня. 

Жизнь в группе для меня протекает по-другому. Здесь 

я максимально открыта впечатлениям. Это 

действительно новое – глубины психики, и как их 

раскрывает другой человек для себя и для меня. 

Опыт проигрывания других ролей - в играх разных 

протагонистов - вообще уникален. Не по своему 

желанию, а по выбору другого человека - живи, 

чувствуй, познавай - где еще такие возможности! А 

обучение свободно чувствовать и выражать свои 

чувства! 

Принятие других и себя. Иногда через раздражение, 

отвержение - и вдруг увидеть другого человека подругому. 

Не так, как привыкла - по первому 

впечатлению. 

Притирка всех нас таких разных - быстрых, медленных, 

страдающих, готовых экспериментировать, требующих 

внимания и защищающихся от внимания. 

5. There are some methods, which I use personally for 

myself, when I feel something going wrong in my 

life… I’ve studied how to help myself! 

6. I’ve studied to see and hear the problems of my children, 

and to help them. 

7. I’ve got the friends trainers and coaches – members of 

my group, and Tetiana with Pavlo. 

Being grateful for this to all of them! And I love you all!

The course is finished, and I’m finding out its value for me. 

The life in group is going on in a different way for me. Here 

I’m most of all opened for the impressions. It’s really something 

new – the depths of psychics, and the way how another 

human being reveals then for himself and for me. 

An experience of playing other roles – in the games of 

different protagonists – is really unique. Not by your own 

wish, but by the choice of another human being – live, feel, 

learn – where can such a possibilities be found! And learning 

to feel and express your feelings free! 

Accepting other people and yourself. Sometimes through 

the irritation and denial – and suddenly seeing another human 

being in a different way. Not in the way I’ve got used 

– by the first impression. 

Fitting together all of us – quick, slow, long-suffering, 

ready to experimenting, requiring the attention and defending 

from the attention. 

And all personal experience is not just acquired, but it’s 

refracted through the prism of practical experience of the 

group leaders. And there are different ways of use of this 

method, different approaches and seminars with different 

essence. 

As a fact I’ve got a lot of new, intense new and important 

things for my work. 

И весь личный опыт не просто приобретается, но и 

преломляется сквозь призму практического опыта 

ведущих группы. И разные способы использования 

данного метода, разные подходы, разные по смыслу 

семинары. 

На самом деле я получила много нового, насыщенно 

нового и важного для моего развития.

Беларусь 

Начало обучения на высшей ступени и 

новая группа обучения I в Каритас Минск. 

Почти два года окончившие обучение на первой 

основной ступени в Каритас Минск должны были 

ждать, пока им будет предложено, или скорее будет 

найдена возможность, пройти обучение на высшей 

ступени. Это стало возможным, потому что и Каритас, и 

ПИфЕ, и сами участницы были готовы финансировать 

данное обучение из собственных средств. Нам удалось 

привлечь опытного тренера в качестве руководителя 

обучением на высшей ступени г-жу Юлию Харди из 

Венгрии, чья мать родом из Беларуси, и которая сама 

говорит по-русски, что позволило не быть привязанным 

к переводчику. Первый семинар состоялся в Минске с 

25 по 27 ноября, в нем принимало участие 8 человек. 

Одновременно с началом обучения второй группы на 

основной ступени в марте продолжиться и это обучение. 

Для этой группы смогли через «Aktion Mensch» 

добиться содействия в поддержке проекта, чем здесь и 

гарантировано финансирование. Руководителем этой 

группы будет опять г-н Фред Дорн; финансирование 

при поддержке «Aktion Mensch» позволит также и 

проведение специальных семинаров с другими 

внештатными тренерами. 

Belorussia 

Start of the second level education and of the 

second group on first level at Caritas, Minsk 

For almost two years the students of the first level of Psychodrama-education 

at the Caritas Minsk had to wait until a 

possibility of continuation of their education has been 

found. This became possible, because Caritas Minsk and as 

well PIfE and the students declared themselves to be ready 

to share the costs of this education. With Julia Hardy from 

Hungary we gratefully could find an experienced leader, 

who, as her mother was born in Byelorus, speaks Russian 

and is not in need of an interpreter. The first seminar took 

place last November from 25 th to 27 th . 

At one time with the start of the second group of the first 

level in March this education will be continued. For this 

new group we could get financial help by the German “Aktion 

Mensch”, so the financing is sure. The group will be 

led once again by Fred Dorn, the financing by “Aktion 

Mensch” allows however to conduct special seminars with 

external trainers.
