WEEKLY REPORT NO. 180
The report period covered by Weekly Report No. 180 is from Monday, 22 January 200 1
through Sunday, 28 January 2001. The Resident Engineer’s Weekly Report and the
Construction Quality Control (CQC) Consultant’s Weekly Report are combined into one
report for the: (i) On-Site Disposal Facility (OSDF) Phase I1 and Phase I11 projects; and
(ii) Enhanced Permanent Leachate Transmission System (EPLTS) project. During the
period, there was approximately 0.5-in of snow recorded.
Construction Progress
OSDF Phase II
No fieldwork activities.

OSDF Phase III
No fieldwork activities. IT Corporation, the Phase 111 Cell 1 Cover Construction
Contractor continued providing submittals for the construction work. Construction is
anticipated to start in Spring 2001.
EPLTS
The STAVER Group, Inc. (STAVER) continued with the installatioderection of the preengineering
buildings. Backfill was placed around Valve House-5 (VH-5) during the
week.
STAVER s subcontractor, RIECK, welded HDPE flanges and installed the plumbing for
the Control Valve House (CVH). RECK also ran a hydrostatic pressure test on the
carbon steel pipes inside the CVH.
STAVER’s subcontractor, B & J Electrical Co., Inc., continued work with the installation
of the electrical line during the week.
