Gira:
• Gira offers a broad range of intelligent building technology for convenience

• Gira manufactures devices for networking home technology, music
control for all rooms and comprehensive switch ranges, plus numerous
functions for door communication, energy and lighting outdoors.
Modular design means functions and devices can be easily combined
Gira System 55 switches and sockets:
• Modular design; System 55 central inserts can be inserted in Gira
Event, E2, and Esprit design cover frames
• Central inserts and cover frames are made of shatter-proof, shock
resistant thermoplastic material, which can be easily cleaned with a
damp cloth as required
• There are more than 180 functions to choose from in System 55 (of
which only a few are shown on the following pages) - these include
Gira blind controller, Gira audio/video door entry systems (see Access
Control, Section 8), Gira push button sensor 2plus with background
illumination inscription space and Gira flush-mounted radio
Gira radio bus system:
• Intelligent building technology for control of lighting, heating and
security systems
• Transmission of signals between system components is via radio and
requires no cable installation
• Ideal for retrofitting in existing buildings; existing electrical installations
can be modernised quickly, cleanly and economically
• Highly flexible; can easily be modified at a later date

Gira audio/video door entry systems:
• Gira modular design means same design cover frame can be used for
all switches and sockets as well as audio/video entry systems and
other Gira functions
• Bus system instead of conventional electrical system means fewer
cables required, one man (electrician) installation and future system
modifications less costly and easier
