Gira Instabus KNX/EIB System
• Intelligent building technology for new build electrical installations
• Bus line is laid in addition to 230V cable: The power cable supplies
the consumers with power and the Instabus devices communicate
with one another by means of the bus line.
• Once programmed, the Gira Instabus System knows what to do and
when. In order to change functions, the devices are simply reprogrammed.
Even central functions are easy to implement. In addition,
the Gira Instabus System combines the maximum diversity of applications
with the highest level of security in transmission.
• So that the standard in Europe is uniform, the intelligent technology
supported by Gira has been standardized accordingly: It is called the
European Installations-Bus or EIB for short.
• The application areas of the Gira Instabus system are new constructions
and renovations, where bus lines can be laid, for example:
- apartments and houses
- offices and administrative buildings
- production facilities
- hotels and restaurants
- schools, universities and museums
- hospitals and rehabilitation facilities
- airports and train stations
