3.3.8 Case study 8 (Mahalingam, Kashyap, & Mahajan, 2010)<br />

This case study mainly focused <strong>on</strong> the following points:<br />

Where and when in c<strong>on</strong>structi<strong>on</strong> projects 4D <strong>planning</strong> can be most<br />

advantageous.<br />

Improve c<strong>on</strong>structi<strong>on</strong> actors’ percepti<strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> how to effectively use 4D<br />

technology.<br />

Firstly, the implementati<strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> 3D and 4D models in three major c<strong>on</strong>structi<strong>on</strong> phases<br />

were analyzed. These three phases were <strong>planning</strong>, design and c<strong>on</strong>structi<strong>on</strong> phase.<br />
