RE: Application of Addiction Awareness to be treatment
provider for 5th Judicial Circuit Drug Court
To whom it may concern :
This letter is to offer my support for the application of
Addiction Awareness to be the treatment provider for the 5th
Judicial Circuit Drug Court. I have known Lisa Doyle, Chief
Administrative Officer of Addiction Awareness, for a number of
years and believe she and her agency would do an outstanding job
in providing the treatment prong for the Drug Court program in our
circuit. I am familiar with Ms. Doyle from her work at Family
Guidance Center (FGC) when she was the substance abuse treatment
director for them . In her role as treatment director for FGC she
directed and oversaw the substance abuse treatment for individuals
placed in the Drug Court program . She worked as Director of the
treatment program from 2000 to 2006 and did an excellent job
working with the Court and other members of the Drug Court team.
I always appreciated Ms . Doyle's outstanding work and
responsi veness in working with the Drug Court to provide the
substance abuse treatment for individuals placed in the program.
As a Circuit judge, who presides over the Drug Court, I
believe it is importan t to have someone who has experience in
providing the needed treatment services and also someone who works
well with others . I fully endorse Addiction Awareness, and Lisa
Doyle as the Chief Administrative Officer, in her application to
be the treatment provider for Drug Court in the 5th Circuit.
