This Handbook is designed to provide you with:<br />

This program was designed with your recovery in mind. Our goal is to assist you in<br />
living an alcohol/drug-free lifestyle. There is a direct relationship between your<br />
investment and involvement in the program and your personal growth and lifestyle<br />
changes. You will be expected to take an active role as a participant in the <strong>Addiction</strong><br />
<strong>Awareness</strong> LLC Program. As a participant in our program you will be given direct<br />
assistance in learning how to live alcohol/drug free.<br />
SECTION I<br />
MISSION, PHILOSOPHY AND PRINCIPLES<br />
MISSION STATEMENT<br />
The mission of the <strong>Addiction</strong> <strong>Awareness</strong>, LLC-Drug Court Program is to provide<br />
education, support, and assistance to change your addictive lifestyle and any related<br />
criminal behavior associated with your addiction. Our goal is to assist you develop a<br />
healthy lifestyle, (social, psychological and spiritual). If you fully participate and work<br />
within this program (remaining honest, open-minded, and willing to change), you will<br />
see benefits in several of the following areas of your life:<br />

One of our overall purposes is to provide you with a continuum of treatment and selfhelp<br />
programs. A related goal is to increase your motivation to move along that<br />
continuum of treatment. Hopefully, as you benefit from our program your motivation<br />
to continue your treatment will increase. This program can serve as a starting point for<br />
self-help involvement, and/or other treatment or support programs which encourage<br />
your recovery and commitment to an alcohol/drug free, healthy and happy lifestyle.<br />
PHILOSOPHY OF TREATMENT<br />
Our program embraces the "disease concept" of alcoholism and drug addiction. There is<br />
