A. Introduction:
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY AND NARRATIVE
Addiction Awareness, LLC was established in 2000 to service Nebraska in providing education
programs that would serve as early intervention to serious community issues such as Addiction
Education, Anger Management and Relapse Prevention.
Currently, Addiction Awareness LLC operates in nine (9) locations – seven (7) in Nebraska, and two
(2) in Missouri, with its headquarters in St. Joseph. In Cameron, we offer a one day Relapse
Prevention Class and Anger Management Class on a rotating basis once a month.
In St. Joseph, MO, we have offered a large variety of services for almost 5 years.
A comprehensive list of these services can be viewed at www.aaesllc.webs.com. The services include
chemical dependency screenings, evaluations, individual counseling sessions, couples counseling
sessions, family counseling sessions, domestic violence batterer’s intervention evaluations and
groups, anger management screenings, and one day education classes on addiction education, anger
management, relapse prevention, money management, as well as parenting and family education for
the offender.
We have served over 80 drug court clients in 2 years. We have had 6 clients successfully complete the
entire program and have over 35 still actively involved in services. This brings another 25 ready for
graduation when their time in Level 5 is complete. We offer substance abuse outpatient services for
another 70 on average per month who are private fee clients, meaning they pay for their entire
treatment.
In addition, we provide Domestic Violence Batterer’s Intervention Education Services for private fee
clients, as well as for the Buchanan County Domestic Violence Treatment Court, servicing over 100
clients on average as well. For every 3 clients that engaged in these services, 2 successfully
completed.

In August 2008, Addiction Awareness LLC became fully certified as a Women’s Owned Business by the
State of Missouri, as well as Department of Mental Health Alcohol and Drug Department. We began
day outpatient services in October of 2008, and began afternoon outpatient services in March of 2009.

Lisa Doyle, Chief Administrative Officer of Addiction Awareness, LLC was the Chemical Dependency
Department Director of Family Guidance Center in St. Joseph, MO from October 2000 until June 2006.
During this time, the department complied with all contractual requirements and received
