Rules are nearly always handled by a recommendation to the Drug Court Team for
Court sanctions. Our other rules generally result in a "Learning Experience".
HARD AND FAST RULES
Hard and Fast rules are designed to provide a safe environment and to ensure that the
integrity of the program remains intact. Violation of any of the following rules are
considered to be very serious and will result in an immediate notification of the Drug
Court team, recommendation to the Court, and appropriate sanctions by the Court.
1. Possession or use of alcohol or drugs on-site.
2. No sexual activity on-site.
3. No violence or threats of violence - possession or use of weapons, intimidation,
threats, attempted fights, struggles, or threatening disruptive behavior.
4. Respect property of others- no theft, vandalism, destruction of property.
5. Participants will follow confidentiality guidelines.
6. No continued disregard of any rules guiding participation. A accumulation of
even minor program rules may result in Drug Court Team action.
PROGRAM RULES
The following rules are designed to provide for an orderly environment and to ensure
that all participants are able to benefit from treatment. Violation of any of the following
rules will result in program action which includes learning experiences, referral to
encounter group, probationary behavioral contract, de-leveling (demotion), or if
serious, recommendation to the Drug Court team for Court sanctions.
1. Comply with all rules of the facility.
2. Remain drug and alcohol free, including other substances which might alter
mood. Submit to urinalysis and breathalyzer testing as required.
3. No profanity, abusive language, racial, ethnic, or sexual slurs will be allowed.
4. No pornography or gambling is allowed on-site.
5. Attendance and completion of assignments is required at all therapeutic and/ or
other program activities.
