Rules are nearly always handled by a recommendation to the Drug Court Team for<br />
Court sanctions. Our other rules generally result in a "Learning Experience".<br />
HARD AND FAST RULES<br />
Hard and Fast rules are designed to provide a safe environment and to ensure that the<br />
integrity of the program remains intact. Violation of any of the following rules are<br />
considered to be very serious and will result in an immediate notification of the Drug<br />
Court team, recommendation to the Court, and appropriate sanctions by the Court.<br />
1. Possession or use of alcohol or drugs on-site.<br />
2. No sexual activity on-site.<br />
3. No violence or threats of violence - possession or use of weapons, intimidation,<br />
threats, attempted fights, struggles, or threatening disruptive behavior.<br />
4. Respect property of others- no theft, vandalism, destruction of property.<br />
5. Participants will follow confidentiality guidelines.<br />
6. No continued disregard of any rules guiding participation. A accumulation of<br />
even minor program rules may result in Drug Court Team action.<br />
PROGRAM RULES<br />
The following rules are designed to provide for an orderly environment and to ensure<br />
that all participants are able to benefit from treatment. Violation of any of the following<br />
rules will result in program action which includes learning experiences, referral to<br />
encounter group, probationary behavioral contract, de-leveling (demotion), or if<br />
serious, recommendation to the Drug Court team for Court sanctions.<br />
1. Comply with all rules of the facility.<br />
2. Remain drug and alcohol free, including other substances which might alter<br />
mood. Submit to urinalysis and breathalyzer testing as required.<br />
3. No profanity, abusive language, racial, ethnic, or sexual slurs will be allowed.<br />
4. No pornography or gambling is allowed on-site.<br />
5. Attendance and completion of assignments is required at all therapeutic and/ or<br />
other program activities.<br />
