Ultraviolet Water Conditioner Parts
Ultraviolet energy is released by a low pressure mercury lamp which has a special type of glass to allow
passage of a light ray expressed as 253.7 nanometers. This particular light ray has the unique ability of
killing micro-organisms that it comes in contact with. Automatic operation: There are no moving parts to
wear out. No operator is required. No valves or gauges to set. Simple cleaning of the quartz sleeve and
annual replacement of the long life UV lamp are all that is required.

AN-15 Acid Neutralizer Filter System
The AN-15 automatic neutralizing filter system is effective in raising the pH of acid waters below 7.0 pH.
Acid water is extremely corrosive to piping and plumbing systems. The unit contains 1.0 cu. ft. of Calcite
material, which adds alkalinity to the water, thereby, increasing the pH factor. The Calcite material require
periodic refilling at rates depending on amount of water used.

AS-15 Sediment Filter System
The AS-15 automatic sediment filter system effectively removes excess turbidity including sand, silt, clay
and dirt from water supplies down to the 20-40 micron range. The AS-15 system contains 1.0 cu. ft. of a
material called “Filter-Ag”. It is extremely efficient and will last indefinitely with a minimum of attention.
The system must be set to backwash frequently (2-3 times per week) to remove the accumulated solids
which are filtered out throughout the bed.
