Not a <strong>Girl</strong> Scout yet? Sign up to become a<br />

<strong>Girl</strong> Scout outside the zoo entrance and your<br />

admission is free too! There is a $12 registration<br />

fee to become a <strong>Girl</strong> Scout.<br />

Grades: K–12<br />

Spend the day at the zoo visiting the animals<br />

and enjoying all <strong>of</strong> the fun and excitement they<br />

have to <strong>of</strong>fer. Learn cool facts about wildlife,<br />

play animal games, and make a variety <strong>of</strong> animal<br />

crafts to take home. During your day <strong>of</strong> zootastic<br />

fun, you’ll also discover what <strong>Girl</strong> <strong>Scouts</strong><br />

has to <strong>of</strong>fer. No pre-registration necessary.<br />

Weekend by the Water<br />

Cost: $45 per person<br />

Grades: 4–8<br />

Water fun for everyone! Stay at Hidden Falls in<br />

the best season to experience the beauty <strong>of</strong><br />

the Poconos on Sunset Lake. Canoe, funyak<br />

and hike to the falls. A campfire will end the<br />

evening on Saturday. Saturday breakfast,<br />

lunch, dinner and snacks as well as Sunday<br />

breakfast will be provided. Troops are required<br />

to have a troop camp trained adult and a<br />

First Aider. This program is for troops only.<br />

Join the Wildlands Conservancy’s team <strong>of</strong><br />

naturalists and explore the Lehigh River on<br />

both bicycles and canoes. Gain a unique<br />

perspective <strong>of</strong> the river that flows through<br />

our valley, the diverse ecosystem that<br />

depends on it, and the fascinating history that<br />

surrounds it. Bring a bagged lunch to enjoy<br />

along your journey. This is a troop-only event.<br />

camp and increase your horse-related<br />

work on interactive projects in small groups,<br />

assisted by faculty from the Mechanical<br />

Engineering Department <strong>of</strong> Villanova University.<br />

Fee includes breakfast, snack, and lunch.<br />
