Grades: 2–5
Spend the day at our facilities gaining basic
camping skills. You’ll build campfires, tie
knots, learn first aid, and discover how to use
a GPS; you’ll also go geocaching, sing songs,
and play games. This is a great opportunity
to spend time outdoors for the day and
improve your camping skills without taking
an overnight trip. Lunch will be provided.

There’s been a break-in at the Reading Public
Museum and one of our priceless artifacts has
gone missing! Be part of the crime-solving team
as we search for clues, fingerprint suspects,
break codes, and use cutting edge forensics
to help unravel the mystery. Conduct an
investigation, fill in the facts, and see if you have
what it takes to be a real life forensic detective!
After the program concludes at the museum,
you’ll head over to a show in the planetarium.

involved in being a jeweler or metalsmith. Every
