– Assignment of Nom-Dat to one verb is “thematic” assignment of<br />
dative objects to motion verbs<br />
– Assignment of Dative subjects is thematic assignment of dative<br />
case to experience-based verbs<br />
– *If so, then one of the Nom-Acc verbs, the one meaning ‘love’<br />
should have been assigned a Dative subject<br />
