An overview of the <strong>Drilling</strong> Contractor’s organisation and values.<br />

What in the <strong>Drilling</strong> Contractor’s Management System demonstrates assurance to others that<br />

these expectations are achieved?<br />

‣ Brief summary of the <strong>Drilling</strong> Contractor’s organisation including:<br />

- name and address of head, regional and or field offices<br />

- history and relationships with parent company (if applicable)<br />

- scope of operations provided<br />

‣ <strong>Drilling</strong> Contractor’s <strong>HSE</strong> values and vision.<br />

1.2.4 <strong>HSE</strong> <strong>Case</strong> Responsibilities<br />

Expectations of others:<br />

Description of the <strong>Drilling</strong> Contractor’s organisational, individual and team roles and<br />

responsibilities <strong>for</strong> the development and review of the <strong>HSE</strong> <strong>Case</strong>.<br />

What in the <strong>Drilling</strong> Contractor’s Management System demonstrates assurance to others that<br />

these expectations are achieved?<br />

‣ Identification of position(s) in the organisation with overall ownership and responsibility<br />

<strong>for</strong> the <strong>HSE</strong> <strong>Case</strong>.<br />

‣ Identification of position(s) with responsibility <strong>for</strong> ensuring that the <strong>HSE</strong> <strong>Case</strong> is<br />

implemented and complied with.<br />

‣ Identification of position(s) with responsibility <strong>for</strong> updating and periodically reviewing the<br />

<strong>HSE</strong> <strong>Case</strong>.<br />

‣ Brief description of these responsibilities.<br />

‣ Positions and experience of individuals who participated in the development of the <strong>HSE</strong><br />

<strong>Case</strong>.<br />

1.2.5 <strong>HSE</strong> <strong>Case</strong> Reviews and Updates<br />

Expectations of others:<br />

The <strong>Drilling</strong> Contractor has criteria and arrangements <strong>for</strong> reviewing and updating the <strong>HSE</strong><br />

<strong>Case</strong> in<strong>for</strong>mation <strong>for</strong>:<br />

- changes in the operation or equipment which significantly change the overall risk<br />

(including changes related to geographical and environmental conditions)<br />

- significant changes to manning levels or the organisational structure<br />

- significant changes to the <strong>Drilling</strong> Contractor’s Management System (or industry<br />

standards) referred to in the case<br />

- developments in risk assessment methodology or lessons learned from incidents that<br />

may alter the results of existing risk assessments or risk management barriers<br />

- changes in legislation / regulatory requirements<br />

- expiry of any thorough review or resubmission interval specified by legislation /<br />

regulation<br />

- expiry of any <strong>Drilling</strong> Contractor specified review interval.<br />
