The clear off voltage in these measurements is 2 V, the clear-gate is held constant. The clearing of the internal gate is complete in the wide regions of lowest clear noise subtracted from the stored currents by the CURO readout chip. The remaining current difference is proportional to the signal charge in the internal gate. Figure 20 shows a photograph of an ILC prototype module with 64 × 128 pixels, gate- and clear SWITCHERs and the CURO readout chip. 20
