Mounting aid for Modul 45connect sockets
Conventional device connection
The electrical connection is made using integrated
screwless terminals, designed for rigid
cables with a cross-section of 1.5–2.5 mm².
Flexible wire ends must be equipped with a
plug connector.
Device connection with connection adapter
The boxes possess two connection sides,
which are designated the plug and socket side.
Mechanical encoding is used to limit the connection
options of the adapters to one side per
type. Incorrect connection of the socket is excluded
by the encoding.
Connection adapter, straight, connector
Insert the connection adapter (connector part
adapter) into the plug side of the box and lock
it in place.
Connection adapter, straight, socket part
Insert the connection adapter (socket part
adapter) into the socket side of the box and
lock it in place.
Connection adapter, U-shaped, connector
part
Insert the connection adapter (U-shaped connector
part adapter) into the plug side of the
box and lock it in place.
Connection adapter
Insert the connection adapter into the socket
side of the first box and lock it in place. The
next socket can be inserted and locked when
the protective flap is removed.
Note: Socket combinations with two connection
adapters at most are permitted.
Planning aid, device installation
Use of strain relief
The strain relief is attached to the front side on
the fastening grooves. The strain on cables of
a diameter of up to 10 mm is relieved correctly.
