High level of
after sales service
Faymonville can now rely on a new partner, the CTE
company. A very sound enterprise with a well-coordinated
sales policy and a very efficient after sales service.
Early 2011, Faymonville and CTE decide to enter a
collaboration in order to supply the Romanian market.
Christoph Prümmer, usually responsible for this market,
explains : « CTE was looking for a partnership in the
specialist haulage sector to complete its range of offer.
For Faymonville the opportunity was too good to turn down
seeing as CTE already had a showroom, a spare parts
department and the necessary infrastructure required to
represent them. Their technicians have attended a training
course at our premises and Codrut Negrei has been selected
as sales manager for Faymonville products. »
CTE distributes the entire range of Faymonville products,
with Multimax and Megamax as its leading products.
In August 2011, an event was organised to introduce the new
partner and proceed with the delivery of one 7 axle Multimax
to a major Romanian company. CTE has already sold
something like 30 Faymonville vehicles.
CTE has been Faymonville's partner for the Romanian
market for the last year.
INFRASTRUCTURES
The company is going ahead with the
extension of its service workshop.
Yves Faymonville, Production Process Manager
tells us more: « A new 600 m 2 annex which
includes a 24 metres sandblasting and metallization
booth as well as a spray booth of the
same length. This workshop will be able to
process products of all brands and allows us
to recondition our client's vehicles. The workshop
will be operational by the end of the
month of May 2012. »
Another development, a logistics centre to be
shared by the Belgian, Luxembourg and
Polish factories. This centre will rely on a
warehousing system christened ‘Shuttle XP’.
Yves Faymonville : « The aim is to rationalise
stocking space, improve productivity
even further and optimize restocking.
The system is totally automated for small
items and semi-automated for the rest which
are stocked on pallets. The system is of the
'goods to man' type, that is to say that it
presents the product directly to the operator. »
Software informs the operator of the number
of articles that need to be collected and the
Shuttle organises the collection sequence
reducing the shuttle movements to a minimum.
« This method enables collection times
to be reduced, space and time to be saved,
but also it helps to improve operator
safety », Yves Faymonville further underlines.

Effectiveness and ecology
The latest development to date regarding Faymonville infrastructures : the expansion of the
painting workshop, a new logistics centre and the installation of a photo-voltaic system.
All of this is going on at Bullange-Bütgenbach (Belgium).
The photo-voltaic installation should
produce the equivalent of 20% of
Faymonville's annual energy
consumption.

Regulations and Energy : « We're talking
about three installations on three
buildings : Faymonville Service, Faymonville
AG and the CNC Hall. The production
capacity is 750 kWp, which amounts to
20% of our annual consumption. This will
reduce our CO 2 emissions by 182 tons a
year. Faymonville will continue investing in
renewable energies, but also in energy
saving, in order to reduce its consumption.

cheapest energy is the energy one doesn't
