BRAZIL
The paradise of
wind power
Currently growing at full speed, Brazil is increasing
its infrastructure projects, particularly in the
sustainable energy sector. All the major wind
turbine manufacturers are involved. And Faymonville
along with them.
RUSSIA
The Faymonville
modules win out
PRODUCT TO THE MAX
Russia is currently engaged in the upgrading of its power stations, oil refineries, metal works etc.
This means plenty of specialist haulage, shipments which rely more and more often on Faymonville
products. In particular the Modulmax range of vehicles.
P. 08
Brazil has very ambitious wind power projects.
A great opportunity for Faymonville.
The paradise of wind power, Brazil is now launching a
number of projects that rely on this technology. The Telemax
and Brazilmax extendible semis (see GTTM No. 17) are
therefore highly prized. Firstly for the shipment of wind
turbine blades, secondly for the towers and the nacelles.
« Faymonville has been operating on the Brazilian market for
2 years now and it has already sold as many as fifty Telemax,
while the recent launch of the Brazilmax has already created
a good deal of interest. It must be said that the wind farm
projects involve thousands of towers. And seeing as
Faymonville is a leader in wind tower transportation
solutions... Many major Brazilian shipping companies such
as Saraiva, Cruz de Malta or even Makro, already seem
to rely on us », explains Paul Hönen, head of sales for
America and Asia.
Faymonville has many clients in Russia who are heavily engaged
in the upgrading of works on power stations. These haulage companies
are mainly engaged in the shipping of the transformers
and refinery parts, for which they turn to Faymonville material for
a variety of reasons.
Reputation
First of all, the Faymonville brand enjoys an excellent reputation
in these parts, based essentially on the quality of its products.
The Multimax, Megamax and other Variomax vehicles have
in actual fact granted and still grant their users a large degree of
satisfaction. One must now add the Modulmax series to the list.
What the Russian specialist haulage companies particularly
appreciate is primarily the products' interchangeability,
The Russian specialist haulage companies take an active
part in the upgrading of Russia's power stations.
which includes the fact that its products can be combined
with those of other manufacturers. They can also take advantage
of very fast deliveries of the modules available in stock. This can
be decisive for projects where the haulage company is required
to provide a very fast and efficient service. Furthermore,
the modules are particularly suited to the severe climates
thanks to their metallised finish, an industrial process which
guarantees the utmost resistance and a greater useful life of
the machine's bodywork.
Finally, Faymonville is capable of providing an excellent
technical assistance service on site. This service will be further
improved with the upcoming opening of a new maintenance
workshop in the Moscow region (see elsewhere in this issue).
Faymonville takes advantage of the great name it has
made for itself in Russia.
