Public dialog : Lessons learned
Public acceptance is a continuous process from the time at which the
project is considered to the end of the monitoring period, until responsibility
associated with a storage site is transferred to the public authorities.
‣Set the right level of resources early in the process and perform the full social
relationship management analysis to map out completely the communication plan
‣Importance to take into account the right level and timing to define the stakeholder
management process ( Holidays, electoral periods…)
‣Inform the public with humility and transparency with simple words
‣Company has to keep the leadership of all communication aspects
‣It is still a challenge for our project….
