Welcome to Kids Kollege! Prekindergarten through 12th Grade SPORTS SOCIAL BAdminton (Ages 8-18) $35 Beginner level players will gain a solid foundation with footwork and stroke techniques, basic concepts of tactics and strategy, as well as badminton rules and etiquette. Intermediate and advanced level players will learn advanced tactics and strategies of the game. All players will learn and enjoy the social aspect of badminton. Players are required to bring a badminton racket and gym shoes and feather shuttlecock. Participants will work with experienced staff that provide instruction and are committed to your tennis development with a very positive teaching style. Players will be taught the fundamentals of tennis from the very basics to the tournament level while developing their own unique game style based on their different skills levels. You will increase your self-confidence and expand your love and passion for the lifetime game of tennis. MATH MATH ACADEMY (Ages 5-13) $99 Qualified instructors will lead these courses for students entering the 1–6 grade level. Topics include grade level concepts of math, basic fact practice, and word problems. This class will help strengthen skills through repetition and reinforcement. A great way to prepare for the next grade! $10 materials fee will be collected at first class. Topics include review of elementary mathematics and principles, introductions to signed numbers, beginning rules for algebraic evaluations, and algebraic equations. This course is both a great review and preparation for junior high or high school class! $10 materials fee will be collected at first class. Class will include variables and algebraic equations, integers, inequalities and simplifying expressions. Students will gain a base knowledge of problem solving strategies to help feel more comfortable beginning an Algebra 1 course in the fall! A great way to get a head start in algebra! $10 materials fee will be collected at first class. Students will learn to draw conclusions, form judgments, distinguish facts from opinions, and make predictions from reading material. There will also be online assignments that need to be completed each week.
