Press, 2008). He is currently completing a monograph on<br />
the transition from colonial to cross-cultural psychiatry in<br />
twentieth century Nigeria.<br />
Roshen Hendrickson<br />
Roshen Hendrickson is an assistant pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong> political<br />
science at the College <strong>of</strong> Staten Island (CUNY). She<br />
received a PhD in Political Science from Northwestern<br />
University in 2006. Her research is on U.S. relations with<br />
sub-Saharan Africa and the economic and political<br />
conditions structuring <strong>African</strong> countries’ options in the<br />
global economy.<br />
Myra Houser<br />
Myra Houser is a PhD student in <strong>African</strong> history at<br />
Howard University in Washington, D.C. She received a<br />
BA in history, mass communications, and Russian from<br />
Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas and an MA in<br />
comparative history from the College <strong>of</strong> William and Mary<br />
in Virginia. She has a special interest in biographies and<br />
legal histories in southern Africa.<br />

Raimonda Iskauskaitò is in the Masters in War and Peace<br />
program in the Institute <strong>of</strong> International Relations and<br />
Political Science at Vilnius University.<br />
