Africa in World Politics<br />
Kunirum Osia teaches at Coppin State University in the<br />
Department <strong>of</strong> Applied Psychology. He works as quality<br />
assurance expert for the Maryland State Department <strong>of</strong><br />
Education. He holds M.A. in Social Anthropology from<br />
Howard University, M.Phil. and PhD in Political Science<br />
from the George Washington University. For four years<br />
he was Executive Editor <strong>of</strong> World Review <strong>of</strong> Science,<br />
Technology and Sustainable Development (a scholarly<br />
journal formerly based in the United Kingdom). For 16<br />
years he was the Editor-in-Chief <strong>of</strong> the International<br />
Journal <strong>of</strong> Nigeria <strong>Studies</strong> and Development.<br />
Olusegun M. Osinibi<br />
Olusegun M. Osinibi is in the Department <strong>of</strong> Private Law,<br />
Faculty <strong>of</strong> Law, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye,<br />
Ogun State, Nigeria.<br />
Jesse Salah Ovadia<br />
Jesse Ovadia is a PhD candidate in Political Science at<br />
York University, specializing in <strong>African</strong> Politics,<br />
Development Theory, and Political Economy. His research<br />
focuses on the politics <strong>of</strong> oil and development in the Gulf<br />
<strong>of</strong> Guinea, focusing on the effects <strong>of</strong> national content<br />
policies in the oil and gas industry. Jesse conducted field<br />
research in Angola and Nigeria in 2010 and is now writing<br />
his dissertation.<br />

Dr. Meshack Owino is an Assistant Pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong> History at<br />
Cleveland State University.<br />
