Africa in World Politics<br />
Donald O. Omagu currently teaches Global and <strong>African</strong><br />
History at Wagner College, New York. He received his<br />
PhD from the University <strong>of</strong> Calabar, Calabar, Nigeria. Dr.<br />
Omagu’s several peer-reviewed articles have appeared in<br />
chapters in edited volumes, journals, and monographs.<br />
He is a member <strong>of</strong> several pr<strong>of</strong>essional organizations,<br />
including the Historical Society <strong>of</strong> Nigeria, American<br />
Historical Association (AHA) <strong>African</strong> <strong>Studies</strong> Association<br />
(ASA), New York Historical Society, and Nigeria Institute<br />
<strong>of</strong> International Affairs (NIIA), Lagos, Nigeria. His<br />
research interests include Nigeria and West Africa.<br />

Mrs. Kevwe Omoragbon is a Lecturer in the Department<br />
