Africa in World Politics<br />
Catherine Jimbo Odari is currently pursuing her master's<br />
degree in History at the Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.<br />
Her area <strong>of</strong> interest is <strong>African</strong> Diplomatic History from the<br />
19th Century.<br />
Mike Odey<br />
Mike Odugbo Odey is Associate Pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong> History<br />
specializing in Economic History. He is the current HOD,<br />
History, Benue State University, Makurdi, Nigeria. He has<br />
a PhD History (2002), MA History (1994), PGDE (1987)<br />
and BA History (Hons) (1980), all from the University<br />
<strong>of</strong> Jos,Nigeria. His teaching and areas <strong>of</strong> research<br />
interests include <strong>African</strong> Development <strong>Studies</strong>, Poverty<br />
Analysis/Reduction Policies, and Food Security Systems<br />
as well as Inter-Group Relations. He has published<br />
several articles in both local and international journals<br />
and authored several books including The Development <strong>of</strong><br />
Cash Crop Economy in Nigeria's Lower Benue<br />
Province,1910-1960 (London, Aboki Publishers, 2009).<br />
He is the co-editor <strong>of</strong> Historical Research and<br />
Methodology in Africa (Makurdi, Aboki Publishers, 2007).<br />
Ebunoluwa O. Oduwole<br />
Dr. (Mrs.) Ebunoluwa O. Oduwole, a former Head and<br />
Senior Lecturer in the Department <strong>of</strong> Philosophy, Olabisi<br />
Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, Nigeria,<br />
has been teaching Philosophy for over twenty years. She<br />
has attended various conferences both locally and<br />
internationally. She is a member <strong>of</strong> the Nigerian<br />
Philosophical Association, International Society for <strong>African</strong><br />
Philosophy and <strong>Studies</strong>, and Pan-<strong>African</strong> Gender and<br />
Peace Research Group.<br />
