fun and frolic for our students.
This month many of our Community members were on the move. Saby went to Mt St
Joseph, Bangalore on 2 November for the Renewal Programme. The programme was
packed but he enjoyed the companionship of his old friends. Vatta left for Hyderabad on
22 November to attend the Principals' Meeting. In the absence of both Vatta and Saby,
Br K T Jose kept the ship afloat. Bro Maxi, Sch Somy and Fr Bernard are out
spending eight fruitful days with the Lord. Fr Felix as usual has quietly slipped into the
Minister's shoes and is seen silently serving the Community as acting Minister. Fr Jerry
relaxing exercise", he says.
Sonari Parish - The major event of the month was the First Holy Communion. On 7
November, 31 children received Our Lord in a solemn Eucharistic celebration. Fr Oscar
was the main celebrant while Deacon Pancras gave an inspiring homily. The next day
our PP took a busload of parishioners to the shrine at Khuntpani for the annual
pilgrimage. After returning from the pilgrimage Pancras left for home for his ordination
which was on 20 November. A hearty congratulations to him.
proceeded to Lupungutu on 23 October for a Triduum. They have all returned with rich
experiences.
of the Community members also joined the Candidates to see what goes on inside the
huge factories.
JYOTI- JYOTI organized the 21st JYOTI Inter-school Basketball Tournament (16-21
come to laugh, to cheer, to compete, to challenge, to lead, to learn, to serve and to enjoy
each other's company. This year 12 Schools participated and the number of teams went
up to 25. Mr Harbhajan Singh, (Secretary, Jharkhand Basketball Association) inaugurated
