<strong>in</strong> the digestive tract the blood<br />

• only small amounts unabsorbed :<br />

excreted <strong>in</strong> the faeces<br />

• Circulat<strong>in</strong>g plasma <strong>fluoride</strong>:<br />

deposited to teeth and bone and<br />

v. small amount to soft tissues<br />

• excreted via : ur<strong>in</strong>ary system (major<br />

pathway) and sweat, small amount <strong>in</strong><br />

milk, saliva and digestive juice
