Biochemistry students seeking a dual major must take an additional 28 earned hours above and beyond the first degree.<br />

The minimum total number of credit hours required for graduation is 161. The total number of credit hours taken may exceed 161, depending on which<br />
chemistry electives the individual student selects. All Biochemistry majors must meet the general education requirements and their program’s requirements<br />
for a minor in addition to completing a minimum of 46 chemistry laboratory contact hours.
