4. Drive the plug in until it is<br />

CAMSHAFT<br />
The camshaft and related parts<br />

Oil the camshaft and apply Lubri<br />
plate to all lobes, then carefully<br />
slide it through the bearings.<br />
CRANKSHAFT<br />
The crankshaft and related parts<br />

1. Be sure that the rear journal<br />
oil seal grooves are clean, then in<br />
stall a new rear journal oil seal in<br />
the block (Fig. 37) and rear main<br />
bearing cap (Fig. 38). After installa<br />
tion, cut the ends of the seals flush.<br />

journals have been refinished to a<br />
definite undersize, install the correct<br />
undersize bearings. Be sure the bear<br />
