Company description<br />
Belwind nv is building a wind farm on <strong>the</strong> Bligh Bank, which will produce<br />
green energy over <strong>the</strong> next 20 years. The first phase has been operational<br />
since end of 2010, after building <strong>the</strong> second phase (2014-2015) 110 turbines<br />
will cover <strong>the</strong> energy consumption of 350,000 households.<br />
To reach <strong>the</strong> European ‘20-20-20’ standard and to secure energy supplies,<br />
Belgium is appealing on renewable energy.<br />
Partly thanks to Belwind our country can achieve <strong>the</strong>se strategic objectives.<br />
