Some references
CSL has also collaborated with DROBEN, testing cold modules for the International
Polar Station “Princess Elisabeth”. The study of high solar concentration
technology has also been initiated in 2007 by a research project with the
company ATHOL. In the field of thermal solar energy, CSL is also involved in
R&D activities, in collaboration with E.S.E and U.C.L.

CSL is a Research Centre specialized in optical instrumentation development
and testing for space and terrestrial applications.

Agency, CSL deals with the major scientific payloads of ESA (recently testing
the complete Planck spacecraft).
Based on this experience CSL develops important R&D activities mainly
related to opto-electronics, optics manufacturing, micro-technologies based
surfaces, sensors, holography, cryogenics and solar applications.
