and trainings centered around the rational use of energy. Blue Planet Academy
is currently one of the largest, most reputable training centers for the energy
performance trainings for the Brussels region (residential certificateur, PEB/EPB
certificats) and is the first Benelux company to host the international BREEAM
assessor training course. A Carbon markets, accounting and footprinting
training course, following the French ADEME scheme will be organized for the
first time in the Benelux in 2012. Blue Planet consulting offers its expertise in
biomass conversion techniques, process analysis and optimization of (thermodynamic)
power generation cycles, energy in buildings and System Perturbation
Analysis (a more advanced type of Life Cycle Analysis).

Blue Planet Academy & consulting is an engineering company, specialized in
the rational use of energy and its promotion on the academic, industrial and
governmental level. Our partners have bundled over 20 years of experience
from the Applied Thermodynamics Research Group at the Vrije Universiteit
Brussels to form this official VUB spin-off and apply the trias energeticas in
projects ranging from energy in buildings, to biomass conversion and the
optimization of existing and novel power generation cycles.
By combining our professional expertise in practical training courses, we believe
we can take advantage of our unique position between industry, government
and academics to help individuals and SME’s to reach their sustainability
goals and milestones.
Blue Planet Academy & Consulting (BPAC) operates from its central headquarters
in ICABBrussel, Witte Patersstraat 4, 1040 Etterbeek (Brussels,
Belgium). We are currently branching out to Bangalore, India.
